Vdealen 3x3 Stickerless Speed Cube

Great gift! It didn't turn as good after a while.

I have 3 boys ages 11, 9 and 7. These things have become really popular at my kids' school. My 11 year old ordered one a few months ago, then my 7 year old ordered one and now I ordered 3 more for my 9 year old and to have on hand as gifts. The product itself works really well. The cube sliding action is really smooth and there are no stickers to fall off like on some other cubes. One downfall is that most sellers, even if in U.S.A, are sending it to you from China, so be prepared to wait several weeks for it to come in the mail. Also, the instructions for solving are in Chinese, however there are multiple Youtube tutorial videos available to watch online. My husband learned the steps and then explained and taught it to the kids. Just depends on your kids' individual abilities with items like this as to how quickly they will catch on or whether they will get frustrated and need an adult to walk them through it. My 2 oldest know how to solve it on their own now and are trying out different pattern combinations. I can't begin to tell you how many hours the kids have played with these things. They take them with them on the bus and everywhere we go!

My son loves this. He wanted something without any stickers so that other kids would not mess with the cube. His earlier cube was the sticker kind and kids at school messed with it by removing the stickers and putting them back on in "wrong" places.. so this one solves that issue. :)One thing to note is that this is a SPEED cube, that means its very "loose" when it comes to turns. That is by design and this is meant for people who are very familiar to how to solve Rubik's cube. If you are a novice or just starting up on Rubik's cube, my recommendation would be to start with a regular cube and get used to solving the cube first. Once that is done, this is great to build up speed.The "tension" in the cube can be adjusted. My son took it apart after playing with it for about an hour and adjusted the "tension" to suit him. Each of the center block have a cover that can be popped open to reveal a simple screw that can be tightened to adjust the "tension".All in all we are very happy with the product. My sons loves it and is now trying to see how fast he can solve the cube.

I bought this purposely because of the color variation, wanting a second stickerless cube to calm two squabbling boys. It's visually distinguishable compared to the Dayan GuHong.But I've got to warn you, the three colors not shown in the Amazon product photo are downright offensive to the eyes, much like staring into neon lights, and the "orange" is actually closer to a shade of pink that melds with the yellow and red making it slow to distinguish (I find myself having to keep thinking, "it's orange, it's orange).Secondly, the spring tension is a little weak, making corner cutting more likely to hang and split the wedge open.The good news? Actually, lots...The cube turns incredibly smoothly. No roughness or undue resistance whatsoever.Unlike the Dayan, the "cover caps" that pop on to the center squares don't fly off at first drop. In fact, despite the light spring tension holding this brick together, it hasn't shed any squares yet.And perhaps most importantly, the kiddos who I primarily bought this cube for don't seem mind the color irregularities, and the spongy edges don't really slow them down much.

Bought the Newisland and this one as a backup/to share. The newisland is by far superior. This one isn't bad, but the colors do make it harder and the edges are sharp. The pieces are not one solid piece, they seem to be made up of individual side pieces snapped in which means some of the corners don't match up perfectly. Corners are especially rough. Price? Get this, it's cheap (the 3x3x3...not sure what the diff between this and the 'stickerless' one is, but the 3x3x3 is cheaper and there are no stickers.). If you want a quality one, get the newisland.

I have to say, I was very surprised when this arrived in the mail 3 weeks early. That is some good shipping.Anyways, I absolutely love this cube. This is my first one and I really think it is a good investment for the price that it is sold for. When I opened the product, everything was very new and the cube turned very smoothly. There was none of that cheap plastic-y smell that I was expecting and it was just very well oiled and turned very, very smoothly. Colors are very distinguishable and bright, and they show up just as seen on the example photos. This cube has pretty much exceeded all of my expectations.Would definitely recommend this to everyone who's looking for a cheap but quality cube.

The cube is pretty okay. It is isn't exactly smooth while turning. The corner cutting is 45 with median tension and over 45 with loose tensions. Reverse is about 1/2 of a piece which is pretty decent. The inside of the cube looks like a Sulong or Yulong which is sad they don't invent a newer styles. The main problem is the colors. The red and orange are a little hard to tell apart when not next to each other. The orange is actually more of a pinkish-orange. My times on the cube are around 50 seconds, but the times aren't my best. My average is around 45 seconds with cube like the yulong. Overall, the cube is okay, even though it adds time because of the colors, it has a nice feel to it and is why I give it a 3 star.

Cyclone Boys sells 2 versions of their 3x3x3 cube and this is the simplified version. I own both of them and while I like the strengthened version (Xuanfeng) better, this doesn't mean the FeiWu is bad at all. It is very smooth and turns like crazy, so it is perfect for speedcube practicing.The only thing I don't like that much is the aesthetics of this version. The colors of the FeiWu are too bright and intense, especially the yellow and orange faces, while the colors of the Xuanfeng are more smooth and prettier to my taste. In poor lightning, it's easier to confuse the orange and red pieces and the yellow and green pieces.

Good product. I got my delivery today. They sent my product in time and with good packaging so i did not get any breakage problem with the product. I used it. It is very smooth to move. And It is very elastic also due to springs insiye it so it also reduces the fear to breakage by falling. It also does not have steakers on it as the whole plastic piece is coloured. So no fear to spoiling the steaker with water hence after all i recommend it to buy to every desired costomer. Thanks!

Cube is excellent out of the box. Very smooth. Colours not as expected, but not too much of a problem. Some cleaning required when first opened; sides of cubies are greasy. Best used with Maru Cube Lubricant.

I am really happy with this cube..it is almost withstanding 2 years even by roughly handled with kids ..i came here to write my comments after years as still holding now well.
