Klipsch Reference Next-Generation R-800F Horn-Loaded Floorstanding Speaker for Best-in-Class Home Theater

These have made me so happy! I had Sony speakers for over 20 years, and even rebuilt them so they would hold on a little longer. What an idiot I was. I wish I had picked up these speakers years ago! The sound is crisp, clear, and great when i'm listening to blues, rock, indy, or even talk radio. I love them!! Just rocking out now to The Cure's "Friday I'm in Love" and it reminded me to write this review! LOL.

Let me start by saying I am a Klipsch fan. I bought the r-600f’s, and received them on a Thursday. For everyone with limited space, I unboxed them outside. Much easier to carry the speaker without the box. I connected them, so glad I went to banana plugs, wasn’t impressed with the sound at first. Calibration didn’t seem to help. They sounded ok but not great. On Saturday evening after about 20 hours of listening to them, they finally warmed up. Wow, I actually heard them kick in. I was thinking I should have gone with the 800f’s, but I know they would have been too much for my space. I have had Sony 3 way floor standing speakers before, but these blow the Sony’s away. I recommend these to anyone that has a smaller space and you want to get the most sound to fill up that space. Again wow very impressed.

These speakers are fantastic. They deserve their reviews and comments. The sound is pure and like no other. I hear it all. If you want clean, accurate sound these are the ones for you.

I decided to upgrade from a 7.2 set up to a 9.2 set up and the R-800F worked out perfect. I have these paired up with a R-25C center, a pair of R-15M bookshelf, R-28F, R-610F and 2 R12SW subs and it sounds amazing. Like I have said in my other reviews, Klipsch is the only way to go.

Was excited to get but when I did I found that my pioneer receiver vsx534 is not really enough power to dive these speakers.its at 75 or channel these need at least a 100 watts to perform properly.i hooked up an old amp with 150 per channel and they woke up but that's an old outdated amp without surround sound I don't use it.i hope this is helpful for those deciding to purchase these speakers.oh by the way they sound great

Have used these for about 9 months, and they sound GREAT!!! The woofers have the needed kick, and the tweeters hit the high range and fill the room. They're Klipsch, so they were bound to be good and not disappoint!

Exelente sonido
