I'm no expert in the craft but I found the Dynacaster DCM 6 to be a great fit for my voice, and with a Focusrite Scarlett interface, it's got excellent gain thanks to the built-in booster. I just leave it on full time; it's perfect for my needs and setup with zero post processing boost. This also helps with noise rejection, because my gains are so low and so easy to put a noise filter in place this way. Super happy with it. I came from an AT2040 and I view this one as an upgrade, just in terms of sound.
