Biltong Maker Biltong Box Beef Jerky Dehydrator Biltong Spice with OPENING FRONT DOOR

My South African born wife is very happy with this item. It was easy to assemble and is effective in operation. It is expensive, though, for what it is. Under the flavour category, I don't like the powder used to coat the meat, much preferring my wife's own marinade. It is now in constant use! Highly recommended.

Excellent fast service the biltong machine is easy to build came with 2 bulbs hooks and a seasoning sachet and has produced lovely biltong within 2 days, great looking box to have anywhere in the kitchen with minimal noise definitely 10 stars🍖👍

I am over the moon with this purchase! I don't often get lyrical about a buy but this one is an exception. My first batch was a hit. In 3 days time my biltong was perfect (I used topside). It didn't only look like the real deal it also tasted divine. My South African husband was soooo impressed. It took us right back to South Africa. My second batch is going at this very moment (see pic). Thx for a great product!!!

I was originally going to make a biltong box out of a puppy cage and a fan which would have been half the price, but couldn't find a small enough cage to sit atop my fridge. So I bought this unit, which is the right size and I'm really glad that I did. It has a quality feel and is compact and stylish. The bulb that came with it was dud, so I contacted the seller and they promptly sent me two bulbs as replacement. It makes very good biltong.

So fat I've produced some excellent, wet and dry biltong. Easy to assemble and keep clean, however it does need a drip tray. I'm using tin foil, which works well.

I was fed up with paying high prises for such small amounts of biltong! I had been looking at making my own but then came across this! This now sits in my kitchen very easy to use easy to clean! If you like biltong try making your own it always feels quite special to produce your own food! It goes down brilliant with a few beers and some friends around. There is plenty of YouTube videos to work out how to make the best biltong.

Really pleased so far although we have only just started using it! Pretty well manufactured, easy to put together (no tools required). It comes with a bulb, set of hooks etc so no need to buy separately. We used smallish pieces of sirloin for a test run and had good biltong in just 24 hours. Bigger pieces will obviously take a while longer.

I bought this product out of laziness, instead of buying my own, so initially I did not mind paying what I thought was quite a high amount given the build material. However, I found the entire fit very flimsy and lock on the door scratches the exterior when put in place. This I found especially frustrating as I paid more for this product over others, so that I could have an lockable, opening door. Luckily it is simple to put together as the instructions are garbage. And unfortunately the bulb that was supplied, doesn't work. It's fine for the purpose it's intended for, however it is far, far too overpriced. For this amount I would actually consider paying someone to make me one, possibly out of proper wood, rather than purchasing this product. As soon as I can find another bulb and actually test it out, I would update this review. I was especially looking forward to try the supplied mix with a batch as I heard good things. But so far I am thoroughly disappointed.
