Don't touch. Garbage.
I have been buying NetDot cables for years and was satisfied until now. Went on a trip and forgot my magnetic cable twice. When I tried to remove the magnet connector from the phone it split in two each time and the part stuck in the phone was a pain to remove. It is a piece of garbage.

A must-have item!
These adapters work just like the naked port! I've used them for charging, flash drives, MicroSD readers, keyboards and mice. No difference between these and the actual port. Great for reducing the wear and tear of constantly plugging/unplugging drives. Just be sure to unmount/eject drives to prevent corruption and data loss. (If any phone manufacturers are reading this, magnetic ports should be the new standard, not an add on.)

Magnet too weak
The magnet is so weak that the weight of the USB charging cable disconnects the adapter as soon as you let it go. Only useful if the device is going to be on a flat surface, that will support the charging cable

A good option for my worn out charging port
My phone charging port was getting more and more worn out. It was not wanting to keep charging cables plugged into it. I cleaned out my port as best as I could, then I installed one of the magnet chargers. It has been very nice getting a good charge on my phone without too much worry of the charger falling out. The magnets have a decent hold. Note: my son's newer Pixel phone would not recognize the magnet charger.

I love these things
I previously had the Volta magnetic cable adapter for my setup. I already have all of my cables and wasn't going out of my way to replace them all with the Volta cables and just got the magnet adapters instead. Because of my work the magnet tip on my phone would often get gunked up with magnetic dust. Well, Volta decided to stop selling the adapters so I went looking for an alternative solution. Imagine my surprise when I found the exact same product under a generic name for half the price! These even work with my old Volta adapters. There are some pros and cons with these and you may find yourself removing them from time to time. Most notability if you're trying to use your phone while plugged in, the magnet is strong but not strong enough usually to try playing games while charging. I always impress people with how easy it is to mount my phone in the car with a magnetic car mount and charge cable.
