This unit is perfect for my digital storage. 6 bays for HDD and two bays for SSDs. 2.5gbps network adapters make it fast across my home network. Running qnap container station allows for numerous network utilities such as pihole to keep my home network free of ads. Make sure to have it hooked up to a UPS to protect it from any spikes/outage in the power. This will help protect the device and the data.

I recently acquired the QNAP TS-364-US, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both performance and flexibility. One notable feature that caught my attention is the manufacturer's recommendation for a maximum of 16GB RAM. However, I decided to push the boundaries a bit and upgraded it to a whopping 64GB RAM, and to my delight, the TS-364-US handled it with ease, showcasing its remarkable scalability. Memory Upgrade: The official recommendation of 16GB didn't deter me, and I opted for a 64GB RAM upgrade. The TS-364-US proved its resilience by seamlessly accommodating the increased memory, contributing to an enhanced multitasking capability and overall system responsiveness. Storage Configuration: For storage, I opted to take advantage of the unit's flexibility and expanded it to meet my specific needs. I upgraded to 2 x M.2 2TB each (cache R/W), providing lightning-fast data access, and supplemented this with 3 HDDs, each boasting an impressive 20TB capacity and coupled with ZFS. The combination of SSDs and HDDs allows for efficient data management and rapid access to frequently used files. Software and Hardware Strength: The TS-364-US impressed me not only with its robust hardware but also with its feature-rich software ecosystem. The QTS operating system delivers a user-friendly interface and a wide array of applications, making it easy to configure the NAS according to my specific requirements. I'm not a fan of this NAS. I bought it to back up my pictures, but it's been challenging to sync it with my computer folders. I have to admit, I'm disappointed with the experience.

性能は問題無いがHDDを交換する際は、カバーを外さないといけない。 ホットスワップ対応を謳っているのに、 電源を落としてカバーを外して交換とはスマートでは無い。 尚、本体を横にして運用していれば、 起動中にカバーを外してHDDを交換は可能(動作保証外だろうが)

細部まで保護フィルムが貼られており製品品質も良し。セットアップから運用までスムーズにおこなえる。起動中の音もほぼ気にならないくらい静音と言える。

It meets all our needs, is easy to install and continues to function perfectly.

It does the job. Takes a while to boot up and seems to be constantly accessing the internal drives from the noise it makes. I keep it in a second rood to not listen to the noise. But the data has been rock solid.

Excelente equipo con un gran desempeño en su servicio, el software es muy fluido y el hardware también la única debilidad a mi parecer es que cuenta con una salida LAN pudiendo tal vez vez tener dos salidas, por lo demás muy bien, al hacer la actualización a 16gb de ram y discos M2. Excelente desempeño al correr container Pi-hole y home assistant como máquina virtual, el software para camaras de Qnap, más la sincronización de PC,archivos, fotografías, etc; la ram está al 50% y el cpu 15%, ampliamente recomendable
