Maina Il Gran Panettone, 1kg

This is a great product, one of the best for aroma, texture, stretchiness and flavour. But.... I wouldn't order again because I had to fill out customs paperwork and pay a handling fee and VAT before it could be released and delivered from UK customs. This added just under £10 to the order. It had come a long way, the box was slightly damaged and a little damp, which made receiving it a little disappointing, but the contents were protected in a quality plastic bag and the panettone itself is delightful. I suppose, even with £10 added, it's not bad value but it's the unwelcome surprise of the charge when there is no choice but to pay that spoiled the experience for the first time.

I have bought lots of these and look forward to the Christmas period as an excuse to buy more! They always arrive very promptly and are always lovely and fresh. I cannot recommend these enough to everyone.
