Logitech K585 Slim Wireless Keyboard with Built-in Phone Cradle - Graphite

After typing on a laptop for 20 years, I didn’t like the feel of a traditional keyboard. However, my new set up at work didn’t make it feasible to continue to type on my laptop keyboard. This wireless keyboard has the feel of a laptop keyboard. Low profile keys, not loud, not as large as a traditional external keyboard. I actually measured my laptop before ordering, and this is the same length. It just feels like a more comfortable typing experience. The best part of the keyboard is the ability to switch between two different devices using Bluetooth. I can type long messages on my phone using the keyboard, hit the other device button, and switch back to the computer. Very cool, but sometimes the keys on the laptop don’t perfectly align with what appears on my phone especially with punctuation. You have to click around to figure out what key actually aligns to the question mark, because it is not the question mark key. Doesn’t happen with letters, just punctuation. Not really sure why that happens or if there is a fix for that. That’s annoying, but not a dealbreaker. Overall, 9/10, would buy again as someone who is on the computer for 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week.

Love this keyboard, it can be connected to my phone and makes it a good pair with my Logi mouse. Slim to fit into bag packs to bring it to anywhere for fun, and well, productivity.

When I have to travel, I have a work laptop that has one of those full-sized keyboards that are incredibly difficult to type on. I had to leave on an extended trip, and wanted to get a comfortable wireless keyboard instead of taking the full-sized wired keyboard I normally use when I'm at my home office. This Logitech K585 is just amazing: 1. The rubber feet on the bottom grip like glue. That's not to suggest that you can't lift the keyboard from the desk; instead, it will not slide while you type. There is no movement at all. 2. There is enough of an angle, so you're typing in an ergonomic position. 3. The keys are quiet, and the scissor mechanism gives you an authentic feel that you'd get from a laptop. So, it is comfortable to use and comfortable for everyone else around. 4. It is plug-and-play. There is optional software you can install, but you don't have to. The USB-A dongle can be stored in the battery compartment. It takes two AAA batteries, which make it very easy to have spares. 5. It has a solid feel to it and has some heft. This will add weight to your backpack if you travel with it, yet it is small enough to fit in a backpack. 6. My Google Pixel 7 with a case fits in the slot. I will likely never use this slot for that purpose, but I was curious since I had read so many reviews that said a case and phone would not work. 7. It has a power switch to save power. So, what are the cons? 1. Engaging the NUM LOCK button. It works, but you have to know the magic secret. There are no written instructions. Press the FUNCTION and the CLEAR buttons simultaneously. 2. no LED indicators tell you if CAPS LOCK and NUM LOCK are engaged. You find out when you type. The cons are pretty minor in the scope of what is otherwise a fantastic wireless keyboard. Cheers!

I love this keyboard! It works perfectly. It is smaller and but works just like the bigger keyboards. It connects correctly with the computer with no trouble. It is efficient, space saving and a good value for the money.

Honestly love this keyboard, it's small, refined, full number keypad and the keys have great feel and sound just right for a modern keyboard. But... it's lacking in two areas: 1) There is no CAPS LOCK indicator LED. I'm constantly switching between writing emails and capitalized engineering text, and now I'm punching the caps lock button all day long to see the display indicator on my monitor so I can see what mode my keyboard is in, instead of a quick glance at the keyboard to see the status. Not a huge deal breaker, but definitely an annoyance for me. 2) The built in phone slot. Too narrow for my phone even with a modest phone case. Again, not a huge setback, but I feel like they didn't think this one through far enough, as I feel the majority of people keep their phones in a case, and usually with a screen protector. It does work good as a place to keep your favorite color of Pilot G2 pen though.. with one end slightly sticking out so you can still grab it :)

I actually love this. I have a laptop, but I put it up on a stand so I wasn't looking down all the time but then I needed this keyboard, so I wasn't raising my arms up to type. It's been great, connecting was easy and no issues so far. Typing is easy, long battery life, responds just like a normal keyboard, portable, etc. I have no negatives with this and would recommend it.

It's smaller than expected but works really well on my small desk. I love that I can use it on my laptop and easily use the keyboard on my desktop. I haven't had to change the batteries in the last 4 months, but I love how easy it is to get to it. My last keyboard had me reaching for a mini screwdriver every time. This one is stable, light, and responsive to my typing without delay. I write novels and feel completely at ease using it. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this keyboard. ( I had a $22 keyboard and when I took it out of the box it felt cheap with high buttons and flimsy plastic. It stopped working well within the 30 day return window, thankfully.) I researched and found a lot of recommendations for this Logitech K585. I also found a similar looking MK470 that came with a mouse. They were the same price so I looked into why. This Bluetooth enabled keyboard can be used with both your computer AND your phone. What?!?! Score! I’m writing this review on my phone, using this keyboard. I love it. It’s so easy to set up that the directions are just a handful of pictures. I figured out how to get it going on both my computer and phone in a couple of minutes. To switch keyboards you just click on the corresponding white button, 1 (F11) is computer and 2(F12) is phone. You can go back and forth between your computer and phone on this keyboard with the click of one button. There’s a stand to hold your phone or a pen and a shallow area for dongles or paper lips. It takes 2 batteries under the white section. I chose the pretty pink so it’s got style, as well. The keyboard itself is sturdy and well made. It feels good under your fingers. The keys are low profile and comfortable. PROS: Well made, color choices, can be used with phone or computer, low profile keys, phone holder, has page down button, Bluetooth technology. CONS: Doesn’t come with mouse so you’ll need 2 dongles in your computer

Works as intended: I have a laptop from work that I connect to an external monitor, and I also have a desktop PC for fun and side hustling. The laptop connects to the K585 via Bluetooth just fine, and my desktop connects with the included dongle. It only connects to 2 devices at once, but that is exactly the amount I wanted. The transition between them is seamless and the use of AAA batteries is a plus for me - I can take it anywhere and not worry about charging the keyboard. Typing is also good, the numeric keypad is a must for me so this keyboard is just perfect for my needs. It is also very compact, I take it to the office with me. You can have a tablet or phone stand directly in the keyboard if you want.

I cannot say enough positive things about Logitech and their products. I own two of their Bluetooth/Wireless keyboards and two Logitech pebbles one for work, and one for my gaming desk. The design is sleek and visually appealing and lightweight. The battery life on these keyboards is also INSANE. I have not had to change the batteries yet and I use the keyboard daily for 7.5hrs or more. (I always switch it off at the end of my day/when not in use.) I love these glasses holder at the top of this keyboard too! It holds my phone while I work. Finally, I enjoy that the sound while typing is not super loud and clacky.. it’s quite quiet, the keys themselves are a good size and shape for ease while typing and I have NEVER had a key get sticky or stuck. I highly recommend this brand and keyboard anytime people ask.

A cute and modern shade of pink. Pink that is a little muted, this is not for people looking for bright baby pink. I’d say this is a muted pastel with a hint of grey undertone. I personally love it. Wish that the height of the keyboard was adjustable though. But the bottom of the keyboard does have nice little rubber grips so that it doesnt slide around. Keyboard is quiet but not that quiet, I’d compare the sound to typing on a laptop Keyboard was simple and easy to set up and connect to two devices Convenient that the usb key is inside the keybaord head Love this pink keyboard, will be using it everyday 😊 please make more pink products! 😬
