good！ The ingredients look good, and the food smells fresh when you open the bag. My hamster enjoys eating it and seems to especially like the variety of different pieces. I also like that it doesn’t contain too many unnecessary fillers.

This is a very healthy, balanced hamster or gerbil food! I have had hamsters in my life since I was a baby (33 years ago!), and just recently decided to take on a pair of crazy gerbils so that my kids could also experience the joys of having "pocket pets" in their lives! :) This is definitely one of the best gerbil foods that you can buy! This food contains 15% protein, 4.5% fat and 10-15% fiber. The main ingredients are timothy grass, pearled barley, oats, flax seed and vitamins and minerals. It does not contain a bunch of cheap fillers like corn or fatty seeds. Our gerbils have been eating this since they were just babies and they both have healthy, shiny coats, bright eyes and plenty of energy! Aside from an occasional treat, this is their main diet and I feel good about feeding it to them because it provides complete nutrition. Our gerbils seem to love it - they will take a piece right out of your hand - but if your pet has not been raised on this, you might have to slowly acclimate them to the new food by introducing it gradually. I am very happy with this food for my gerbils, and will absolutely continue to buy it in the future. I purchased this food directly from Amazon as an add-on and paid whatever full price was at the time.

Best food i have ever fed my Gerbil. She eats all of it and is a great healthy option without all the needed fats. Very fresh and has a nice reseal. Exactly as shown. For one Gerbil i would guess it would last around 2 or 3 months (First time buying so not too sure, but definitely lasts).

My hamster loves this Brand and this is the only Brandon I use for my hamster. It’s healthy for the hamsters and other small animals are well. The size is is average however it’s only half fool which is a number. My hamster health is great due to this product and I noticed that her fur is more softer. The color is green and it looks like a cheerio! When it gets wet it doesn’t soak up which is good when the water is dripping after my hamster uses it.

We have ordered this many times now. It seems to be the food of choice, minus lettuce, for the S'more's, our Hamster. She will eat other things, but this is what she prefers which is nice, because I feel it gives her a well balanced diet. On a side note, my son enjoys watching her eat them because it make it look like she is eating donuts.

The other Oxbow kibbles that are labeled as being formulated for mice are not appropriate for mice, since the kibbles are so huge. Also my mice do not accept the formula as food, they would not even nibble on the other Oxbow Mouse/Young Rat kibbles. These kibbles are a different formula, I just wanted to point out that I've already tried the other Oxbow formulas, that are specifically for mice. The Oxbow Mouse formulas are huge and do not attract my mice and they're not suitable. That said - this is not the same formula. These Oxbow kibbles may be formulated for gerbils and hamsters, but my mice eagerly take them as both treats and as feed. The kibbles are small enough for a mouse to carry it in its mouth. The size is about 1/4 the size of the mouse's head. The kibbles are not flake like but they are more shaped in the form of a doughnut or a "Cheerio." I am able to break most of the kibbles in half with my fingers, to feed them by hand. Also their stool seems much more solid and healthier after being fed on these kibbles. They're gaining weight. They do not get tired of eating these kibbles. I would like Oxbow to produce a dedicated mouse chow that has appropriate sized kibbles and formulated specifically for mice, and that mice are eager for; till then this is a really great substitute. Four stars (as a mouse chow that is). If this were a specific mouse chow I would give it five stars. The kibbles could be a tad smaller for mice, but they're still acceptable, the mice can easily take it in their jaws and carry it away to a corner for consumption. Thanks Oxbow.

I was originally giving my two gerbil girls an expensive seed mix from Petsmart and it caused two problems. First, the girls would pick out their favorite pieces and leave all the small seeds. It was not economical at all because I'd end up throwing out all the seeds that they didn't eat. Second, because my girls were only eating what they liked (sunflower & pumpkin seeds) one of my gerbils began to get seriously overweight which is not healthy for her. Since switching them to the Oxbow, which is complete nutrition with no garbage, my girls have been eating much healthier and Fiona has lost weight! She's back down to her normal, healthy weight which means she should live a normal lifespan now. My only wish is that I had started them on this food sooner! It's really not any more expensive than the seed mixes and it's so much healthier for your little furballs.

Very green, very fresh smelling hamster food. A good staple nugget with complete vitamin nutrition and no added sugars I feed mixed with forage and seed mix diets to make sure my hams get their basics. Unlike other brands of pellet or seed mix, I have never had problems with this hamster food arriving stale or bug infested.

Comida de muy buena calidad, a mi hámster le vuelve loca. La composición es natural y se adapta completamente a las necesidades del animal para que no les falte de nada. La verdad es que la recomiendo muchísimo, vuestras mascotas os lo van a agradecer.

Il pellet preferito dai miei cincillà, lo prendo a volte qui a volte in negozio, e il pacco grande è sicuramente molto più conveniente

À la maison j'ai 4 gerbeilles, 2 hamster. Ça me revenait cher d'acheter un petit sac à l'animalerie. Avec ce grand format je suis comblé en plus il se referme grâce à une fermeture style Ziploc.

Bonjour j'utilise cette alimentation pour mes gerbilles niveau composition sur de l'extrudé c'est l'un des meilleurs ! Juste un truc qui me dérange c'est que le prix augmente de semaine en semaine et ça c'est dérangeant car au début il était à 9 euros et des poussières ! :S
