Excellent quality, clear and sturdy
Excellent quality, very clear with only slight faint defects noticeable in reflections at specific angles. It's clear as glass looking through it and would be perfect mounted on artwork. It came rolled up but once opened it lay flat, so I'm happy to roll it up again for storing! The 400 micron thickness makes it very sturdy, and you can easily bend it into a curve if desired, without creasing. It is also very easy to cut with scissors.I've used it in a diy project involving hot air, causing the acetate to soften and warp slightly while heated, however it returns to being flat when cool. I would not recommend heating the sheet under normal usage!Extremely happy with this product!

Just what was needed to avoid 'cross words'.
Before the product was required, first along came the idea that spawned the need.A friend volunteering in care homes for older people wanted to provide an activity for the residents that truly utilised and stretched their minds. One day, whilst helping one particular resident complete the crossword in a daily newspaper, my friend became acutely aware of the genuine interest of several other residents seated in the same room, several of whom expressed a desire to join in and help complete the task. However, it soon became apparent that a single copy of a small print newspaper crossword was not very conducive to mass participation, especially by persons of limited mobility and often failing eyesight. The search was on for a means of presenting the crossword in a large enough format that it could be easily read by the residents, was cheap, quick to prepare, not wasteful in cash or in material terms and most importantly, in a manner that fostered a group enterprise or spirit. They decided to display the crossword grid in front of the group on an A1 size whiteboard. To enable the whiteboard to still be used as and when required for other purposes, the grid could not be permanently marked onto the whiteboard, but in order to save time redrawing the grid every time, it could not be wiped clean either.. The solution (when it came) was simple. Leaving the whiteboard untouched, permanently mark a black lined crossword grid onto a sheet of clear plastic acetate. Place the acetate ‘inked’ side down on top of the white board and then with a water soluble board marker, etch out the required squares to match that particular days published crossword, gather the residents and then read out the clues to the appreciative audience. The answers too are written onto the grid with a water soluble board marker for all to see. After a bit of trial and error with various thicknesses, this pre-cut 400 micron thickness acetate sheeting, was found ideal for the purpose. The sheeting rolls very easily for storage and just as importantly, unrolls flat every time. (Such was my friend’s satisfaction; they have made a repeat purchase too).

These A1 sheets are quite flexible.
THe package arrived quickly and well packed I was surprised to see them come as sheets rather than on a roll as in the picture but they are certainly fit for purpose. Initially I thought that there was only i sheet and it was quite thick but quickly realised that the three sheets I ordered were packed together and that it was a lot more flexible than I had at first anticipated. It is certainly adequate for covering A boards or picture frames because it is still quite flexible. I have purchased this in anticipation of needing a screen and wanted something with some flexibility to be able to curve if necessary not used it as yet but I'm sure it will be good for this..

Excellent
Flexible but rigid enough to use for templating

Just what I wanted!
This clear plastic is perfect for the job that I want it for - keeping fabric flat whilst I mordant and dye it and I can then move it out of the way so it doesn't take up valuable table space. It took me a while to find it online but this is perfect and just the right weight.

Comes in a roll and scratches present
Thickness is good, however it comes in a roll without any protection film. So when you unroll it, it has lots of stratches
