Does it's purpose
It's silicon so it bends very easily and fits right over the unit snuggly-no gaps. This is a very good idea for the purpose of keeping the doorbell and camera protected from the outside elements. My previous one got destroyed by the rain, sun and snow so hopefully this will give it some degree of protection and last a bit longer. The camera is still exposed but the lip that sits just above the cameral will help some.

It was easy to install. No need to really have the doorbell camera off from the wall to put the cover on. Fits nicely.Got this during the winter so far so good, waiting to see how it holds up during the summer since my door is South faceing.

Protecting the protector
Three stars for me are the item is performing as expected. After several years of use, wide range of weather/temperatures, this was a very good purchase, and value for money. I will shop with this supplier for other related needs.

Best add-on you never knew you needed
The cover and brim block light from my house light at night making visibility in full color.mode awesome! Vivid and clear with no pixelated/blue spots. Easy install and works great.

Night vision… The Worst!!
I wanted a cover like this bc our doorbell faces the sun for several hours of the day during the summertime and the sun eventually messes up the camera. Installation was veey wuick an easy. Its fits very well. Everything was fine, until i checked the camera on the first night…. It was so cloudy i thought it was prints on the lens, wiped it off and it was still cloudy. Flipped up the hat and it cleared up instantly. Sending back bc this will not work for me!
