I've been using this for a few months now. For braiding my partner very long hair to keep it out of his way at work. It smells really nice and doesn't make my hands all sticky. It helps keeps the braids in nice, tight for about 2 weeks before they start to get lose. I usually redo them every week and a half so this works for us. We tried a lot of products before finding this one. Would definitely recommend.

So let's start off. This stuff smelt amazing and was really easy to use. I didn't have a hairdryer hood but I just held the thing in place to my scalp melted. Still the gel didn't set. So I put on a Buff and went about my day, that evening took it off and the locks all felt solid and still smelt nice too. I found this locking gel only held for a few days and then just gave up. The shampoo and the no itch spray are both amazing and work really well. The gel however, not so much. Will probably work better with slightly wavy hair.

Personally this has been theeee best product I’ve used for my retwists so far. I’ve used the Wax version of this, I’ve also used aloe Vera gel (store bought not from the literal plant) but this product is the only one that actually holds my retwist passed sweating in my sleep on the first night lol. My retwist lasts !neatly! for at least a week, and then starts to get slightly messy but still muuuch neater than anything else! I also use a hooded drier to dry my hair as I have low porosity and it takes like 42hrs to dry so not sure if that helps but it’s worth a mention!

I received this product yesterday Saturday 10th June 2023, Product was leaking, Very watery consistency, poor quality product. I can’t recommend this product. Pricy for nothing. I regretted the purchase. I wish I could return it
