The End Times in Chronological Order

Easily understood study of the end times
Dr. Ron Rhodes’ book is written and outlined in such a way as to be comprehended by any with a basic knowledge of the Scriptures. A lady at the Tucson Gospel supplies store said they couldn’t keep books such as these on the shelf because of things happening in the modern world. No doubt. I also have the book on audio and listening to it while washing dishes or cooking helps sink the material in a little deeper. I’d also recommend Rhodes’ book “Israel on High Alert”, for obvious reasons. I do have one minor disagreement. In the final chapter on the Eternal State, Rhodes cites 1st Corinthians 15:24-28 and says many have struggled to understand these vss. I’d recommend reading them, perhaps in the NLT. They just say that Jesus will turn over the Kingdom to God the Father, putting Himself under His Father’s authority, having been granted authority by God in the first place. Easily grasped. The problem for theologians is that these vss. conflict with the co-equal, co-eternal Triune Godhead dogma, showing God as having authority over Jesus. (See John 14:28, 1st Corinthians 11:3, which Rhodes also briefly mentions) Rhodes then cites John 1:1, 2, John 10:30, and Philippians 2:5, 6 for support of Jesus’ equality with God the Father. Then he says Jesus will always be in subjection to The Father because that’s the nature of the relationship between the persons of the Trinity.1. John 1:1, 2 and Philippians 2:5, 6 can and have been translated to have a sense different than Trinitarians say it does. ( see an American Translation by Smith and Goodspeed as well as Moffat’s translation. These Bibles are no longer in vogue, but Moffat’s is quoted in My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers.)2. John 10:30 says nothing about equality. It’s just talking about unity between the Father and Son. (see John 17:21)3. Regardless of how these texts are translated, the Holy Spirit isn’t mentioned. So, they provide no support for a “relationship between the persons of the Trinity")God the Father is consistently portrayed as being greater than Jesus, having authority over Him, having knowledge Jesus doesn’t possess (or that the Holy Spirit doesn’t, either), and giving Jesus revelation. (John 14:28, 1st Corinthians 11:3, 15:24-28, Matthew 24:36, Revelation 1:1)This leads to the simple conclusion that Yahweh is Almighty God the Father, Jesus is the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit is the “finger of God”. (“power of God” Luke 11:20 NLT)Once the Triune Godhead dogma is discarded, such “struggles” vanish.Otherwise, this is a fine Bible study aid, and comes highly recommended. Ron Rhodes is an outstanding Bible teacher and a great asset to the Church.

Thoroughly researched and fairly readable exposition of prophecy.
You will appreciate this book if you are seriously interested in Biblical prophecies of the end times. This book goes through the predictions in a chronological order so that you can make sense of the Book of Revelation. That last book of the New Testament is without a doubt the hardest to understand. Full of symbolism, warnings, and confusing in not being specific as to times and places, the Book of Revelation has needed a clear study guide. This one helps to fill gaps in our understanding. Written in understandable language for the layman, it truly does walk you from the beginning of the End to the Final resolution, where God's people join him in Heaven forever, and the evil are punished for all eternity.

Easily understand Bible prophesies...
This book is amazing, it makes it easy to understand end times. We need Christ so bad, we are in 2024 now and the end of this sinful world is drawing nigh.. I feel closer to heaven while reading this.. as I do while reading the actual Bible. But I'm thankful I came across this book, I think it was tiktok that I heard about this. God Bless all

What the title promises, it delivers. Excellent!
I am reading this book alongside with the series "Left Behind" by Lahaye/Jenkins, and it has been, and is invaluable for me to get a deeper understanding of The Book of Revelation and the Left Behind series.I like that the author presents opinions of other theological scholars, and draws his own conclusion and states that it is his opinion. I actually have several End Times books, but this one is by far the one I favor the most, because of the clear chronological order it is written in. What the title promises, it delivers.Highly recommend it if you have any q.'s about end times, because it is presented in a way not to fear the comings. Before I read this book, I did not grasp the immense Grace bestowed upon us by our Father, and was honestly a bit weary of the Judgement, but Ron Rhodes explains it where I realize the Lord honors each and every ones contributions according to their capabilities and their personal life story. Nothing to worry about, He loves us unconditionally. I have been told that and read that over and over again, but somehow that never penetrated "my not good enough" belief, but Ron Rhodes with his way of presenting the Word, has blasted through that belief, and now I look forward to all God has in store for us with His Glorious Appearing.

Accurato

Sound biblical interpretation of prophecy
Reading is subjective in terms of topic and content, this book has more of a biblical interpretation of historical prophecy. The writing style is what I would refer to as fluid with good coverage of the key content that comes up in prophetic conversations.
