It a nice heavy knocker and looks good on the door. Now I gave 3 stars for easy to install because there were no instructions, (even though it is self explanatory) but it would be nice if they told you the drill bit size and the distance from the knocker to the rest. So, if you don't have the right drill bit and a hacksaw you're in trouble. plus the casting of the knocker throw the fixings out of line slightly. On the whole good quality.

I found the lack of instructions or any help of any kind a bit daunting as I was fitting it to a brand new door that cost me £2k !However, making my own template for the space I wanted to fit it in worked a treat as I poked the pins through the paper and then drilled two very small holes to check the positioning.I then drilled slightly bigger until I had the holes just slightly smaller than the pins.I then placed a book over the top of the knocker and tapped it in with a hammer. As the pins are ribbed (for extra sensitivity I expect) it should stay put. However, if it falls out, I'll just glue it in.

Really nice weighty handle with a good loud knock. Looks great on my newly painted door. Was easy to fit. Does require drilling a hole through the door but I knew this when I bought it and it’s very easy to do. Really happy customer.
