Glass Stirring Rod - 8" Long, 5 MM Diameter - 3 Pack

These are perfect little glass stirring rods that I use for mixing my own eJuice. They are 8" long - the perfect size for mixing in a medium sized beaker or short flask. The rods are about 5mm in diameter, solid enough not to break, but not so thick that you will be breaking your lab glass with this thing. I will be buying a few more sets to make it so that I dont have to wash these as often as I would with only three of them. They are inexpensive enough to keep a dozen on hand for different purposes.I don't think that this would be good with very viscous liquids, but your mileage may vary. I like the way that it mixes the vegetable glycerine that I use in my juice - it quickly dissolves the flavoring that I add to my eJuice. I recommend this product for anyone doing any citizen scientist type work around the home-lab.

Recently purchased my very first pocket scale and ordered an assortment of additional potential items I may need for future use. These glass stirrers are fine quality and exactly as described.However, for my intended use to possibly mix very small quantities in small beakers I think FOR ME they may be to large and thick. I will keep them anyway - but for the future I will make sure I order a set with smaller dimensions for very small quantity usage.STILL A GOOD PRODUCT AND QUALITY FOR THE PRICE. ALSO, WELL PACKAGED AND SUPER FAST SHIPPING.

I read some of the other reviews on here that stated that these have shown up broken. However, considering the price, I took a chance. Low and behold, 2 out of the 3 rods were broken upon arrival. It gets 2 stars because the one that didn't break works fine.

Recieved today. They were all present and in one piece. I only gave it four stars because they shipped it in a padded envelope. I am sure they break often in transit.

Just got these stirring rods and they did the job and work for more than just mixing chemicals.

Buyer beware! I should have paid attention to the reviews of this product. I got an envelope full of pieces of sharp glass. This item should have been shipped in a box. I had to give it one star since I didn't have the option of giving them zero stars. And the delivery was late. I will not buy anything from Pacific Star again.

I automatically give items 3 stars if they come as described. I deduct stars if the product is sub-standard in any way. I add a star if the product is satisfactory, and 2 stars if the product is beyond expectations.I gave this product 3 stars because it came as described. They don't appear to be substandard in any way, but they're not anything to get excited about either... hence, 3 stars.

My friends and I are really pleased with our glass stirring rods. We are using them to rotate our Marimos in their terrariums. They are so much more effective than the wooden sticks provided.
