I ordered this eyelash comb because my sister told me I needed to get one. It has pointed metal teeth. They aren’t needle sharp, you can touch the teeth without it hurting, but if you’re being cornered and you have this is your bag, you definitely can do some damage. The comb is curved to work with your eye shape. The handle is black plastic and the teeth are metal. You can wash, dry and use rubbing alcohol to clean and sanitize. A damp rag takes all the mascara residue off fairly quickly and much easier than trying to clean a plastic eyelash comb. It’s a fairly simple concept. You want to separate your eyelashes and get clumps of mascara off you lashes, this will do just that. I am fairly new to wearing fake eyelashes and also use the comb to clean off the lash glue I have accidentally gotten on my fake lashes. I also have used it to comb my lashes upwards, after I set fake lashes and it makes your real leashes blend better into your fake ones. I’m not sure how to say that clearly where it will make sense, but this comb works really well. It can last a long time and can be cleaned and sanitized easily to prolong the life of the product. It separates lashes beautifully and cleans out clumps. Definitely recommend any level of mascara user to give it a try and will buy again, should I break mine fending off attackers or if I just lose it somewhere.

This thing is amazing! I use it to make sure that there aren’t big chunks were a couple lashes stuck together after mascara application. I use it every time that I apply mascara. It also helps me to clean the mascara off. It is easy to use and clean. If you are careful and move slowly there is no way you could possibly hurt your eye or eyelid while using this. You can use it with your eyes close using a mirror, or with your eyes open. I like to do both. Excellent product, great for the price!

This is the most fine-toothed eyelash separator I’ve ever tried and it’s really really does its job super well! Right away, I noticed that the tips of the eyelash separator are very small, so it’s easier to get in between clumped lashes than my previous eyelash separator (comparison picture attached). I’ve attached a picture of the before and after using the eyelash separator. In the before picture, I have curled my lashes and applied the clumpiest mascara that I have (Covergirl The Super Sizer Waterproof). In the after picture, I used the eyelash separator and a business card (as to not smudge the mascara on my eyelids) to separate my lashes. For harder to separate clumps, I turned the tool 90 degrees from how it would be used usually and used the taller end the of the eyelash separator to individually tackle the clumps. The effect is really separated and feathery and it still maintains the length of the lashes with the mascara. After use, I cleaned it by wiping it with 70% rubbing alcohol (to also sanitize) and it cleans off with no problems. The only tip I would say is that the joint between the head of the comb and the handle is a little fragile (it’s fine for separating eyelashes, it won’t fly off or anything), so when cleaning don’t scrub too hard while holding the handle - hold the head instead. It comes with a cover, so it’s travel friendly and hygienic. My only other criticism is that it does curve quite a bit, so if you have flatter eye sockets (?) it might be a bit awkward for you. Hence the 4-stars, not 5-stars. But you can certainly go around this by using parts of the separator at an angle. All in all, this is a GREAT product and for its price, I think it’s a good long term investment if you tend to want fluffier/feathery lashes.

I can't stand it when I put on mascara and it clumps in certain spots. I purchased this separator tool and it does wonders for my daily mascara routine. Buy it!! Use it right after applying mascara to remove chunks, and separate those pieces that suck together.

The teeth on the outermost edges are twice as thick as the rest, so getting at your inner corners to eradicate those clumps is an exercise in futility. Apart from that , this is an excellent product.

This product is amazing! I love that it comes with a curved plastic cover for the comb. It totally fixes those thick mascara spots that look terrible. Easy to clean and use. Would buy again.

This eyelash separator does exactly what I was hoping it would do! It’s easy to use and gets the job done. I like that it comes with a little cover to keep it clean and protected. Besides the actual comb part, the rest just seems really cheaply made. For the price you pay it’s not a bad deal whatsoever although I feel it could have always been cheaper.

I use two different types of mascara. L'Oreal Paris Original Telescopic Lengthening waterproof Mascara and Maybelline Volum' Express the Falsies Volumizing, Washable Mascara. I use this to separate my lashes after applying one coat of each to remove any clumps. It works perfectly. I was worried that since the handle is plastic once I dropped it (I drop everything) the plastic handle would break like most cheap plastic handles, but surprisingly it’s still intact. Also, this is so easy to clean. Highly recommend!!
