Excellent range of features for not too much money.
I've only used this drill for a short period and already I'm very impressed. The range of features for the price is really quite remarkable and I'm delighted that it's British designed. First of all it's not too heavy and very ergonomic to operate. There are four very useful and easily selectable modes of operation: normal drilling for wood and for paint stirring/plaster mixing; hammer drilling for concrete, brickwork, etc.; fixed chiselling when control of the chisel angle is important; and, free chiselling when it's OK for the chisel to turn as it encounters resistance. In each mode the speed can be controlled by varying the pressure on the trigger or by turning the speed control dial and locking the trigger in the On position - very useful for long operations like plaster mixing. Then there's the reversing switch, which makes extraction of drills stuck in wood so much easier. Finally, the side handle can be easily locked in any positron for better control of the drill. In operation, the hammer action is very efficient, making chiselling operations effortless. All in all, a great tool and the fifth from this maker I've been impressed with, others being their RAGE3-S+ Multi-Purpose Sliding Mitre Saw, their Mitre Saw Stand with Extensions, their RAGE1-B Multi-Purpose Circular Saw and their Diamond Blade for cutting concrete etc. - and I suspect it won't be my last. Highly recommended.

Great machine. Excellent customer service
This is my first purchase from this manufacturer but will not be the last.At such a good price you get a great SDS drill with 5 attachments. When this first arrived I checked all the bits and chisels and found 1 bit to be not straight causing the end to 'waggle' making it useless to use. After a very helpful phone call to the Evolution customer services this was immediately rectified and they sent a replacement drill bit straight away. They don't only have a quality product but also a customer service second to none.

Good chisel/hammer drill, once you figure out how to use it
I bought this specifically for the chisel function to do some minor brick and concrete removal but also used the hammer drill function on the same job. I was concerned at first that the chisel function was broken as holding onto the chisel and pressing go I could feel only a minor vibration, as per other reviews. However the chisel function only gets going properly when you push this thing up against the material to be removed. It then works well at this function, as does the hammer drill. The manual is rubbish and should tell you this. Dropping one star for this reason.I've only used it on one job and it made short work of it. I will use this rather than my Bosch drill on any future jobs requiring hammer function.

Awesome piece of kit...
I bought this hammer drill mainly to remove cement from standard house bricks so I could reuse them, and, using the supplied 1" chisel bit, it did the job effortlessly, and swiftly. It was honestly a joy to use, and saved me SO much time and effort. I would highly recommend it to anyone 😉👍

Amazing workhorse at a fantastic price
After a few years of heavy use the trigger unit failed on my previous one and it cost the same to buy a new one as replace the trigger.I've used it to break up an old steel reinforced concrete slab that formed the roof of an out-house (couldn't use a sledge hammer), channel out for back-boxes and conduit (old hard brick and breezeblock), remove floor/wall tiles and it's coped nicely with everything I've thrown at it. Get the most use now as a hammer drill. I'm always reminded how well it works when I have to go back to a standard hammer drill for the odd job instead.Only bad point is it's incredably noise, so ear protection is a must.

Not great!
Drill bit snapped easily. Got a replacement and the hammer option stopped working! Not a great product!

Great tool good value for money
I’ve used this tool extensively since purchase to strip rendered and plastered walls back to stone as well as remove tiles and drill through some heavy stone and slate and it has performed admirably throughout. It’s not going to break up heavy concrete or similar but in the light to medium work it copes really well and is light enough to use for a long period of time.

Did the job
I bought this because I needed to drill quite a large hole right through a cavity wall, and didn't think that my old hammer drill would be up to the task. I do have another job for it planned for the better weather which involves using the hammer / chiselling action without drilling. It feels to be of decent quality and worked perfectly but I only gave it three stars as I haven't used it enough to judge longevity or reliability.I was a bit disappointed to find that it came in a cardboard box, rather than a case but I suppose that it keeps the price down.
