KAISH Black 7 String Guitar Fixed Bridge Electric Guitar Hardtail Bridge for Strat/Tele Guitars

I picked up the KAISH Black 7 String Guitar Fixed Bridge to replace the bridge on my Jackson Dinky 7 string, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. The fit was spot-on, dropping into place on my Jackson with minimal fuss and no modifications required, which is always a huge relief when working on a beloved guitar. What really impressed me though is how perfectly the black finish matches the rest of the hardware on my Jackson — it looks completely factory fitted, as if it was always meant to be there, giving the guitar a clean, cohesive, and aggressive aesthetic that suits the instrument perfectly. Well its a plate with a bit of shape to it, and 7 threaded blocks with tension springs and phillips head screws. As long as the holes are in the right place, its pretty hard to mess up. This one lines up perfectly on the Sterling JP7 and Jacksons I have, though the Jacksons dont have the mounting holes in the same place. The string thru holes are in the right place, so if you line those up and set them with some ~2.5mm diameter screws, you can then drill perfect pilot holes for the mounting screws, put in the mounting screws, take out the set screws, and bam, perfect alignment on a Jackson. ONLY one big caveat - this is cast magnesium, like pretty much all import bridges.... this in itself is fine, but if you have particularly high PH sweat, it will eat away at the finish and then quickly degrade the magnesium underneath if you arent very religious about cleaning after every time you play. This isnt unique to this bridge, its the same with all magnesium hardware. If you dont mind wiping it down constantly, it's well worth the price since it will do essentially the same job as the legendary H-shot.

Really nice quality, but most importantly can be grounded. Has conductivity everywhere on the bridge. I had a hard time finding a black bridge this style that could be grounded because they often use cheap non-conductive paint. The string holes lined up perfectly and the saddles move easily up and down. Highly recommend for an inexpensive bridge.

Seems like an okay bridge. One thing that is important to do is to make sure it fits your guitar. More specifically, replacing a tremolo bridge (like you typically find on a Strat) with a fixed bridge likely will require a bit of modification.

The bridge plate came close to directly fitting my Jackson Soloist hardtail, but the three screws that hold it down are a hair or two off and don’t align with the pre-drilled mounting holes and I’m not trying to drill a bunch of new holes in my guitar. However, all I did was take the saddles off of the bridge and installed them onto my pre-existing bridge plate. They work well, and most importantly, are dramatically more comfortable.

I bought this bridge as a replacement for the stock bridge on my 7 string Jackson Dinky to replace the very basic stock bridge that came on the guitar. Installation took 30 mins with a re-string. I am very pleased with the fit. The string holes limed up perfectly. I had to center punch and drill pilot holes for the screws as their position was different. The bridge is a vast improvement over the stock bridge. The new bridge a higher mass an gives the guitar better sustain. It also improved the action. I recommend this upgrade.

Does not fit standard size hardtails. Hipshot, Wilkinson , whatever You name it. The screws to bound the bridge fit perfect. Wrench to adjust action works perfect. Getting Your strings thru Your guitars body without drilling six holes and ruining Your guitar altogether is the difference here. They don’t line up and don’t know what guitar this hipshot want a be is geared for! It sucks because it looks and feels quite quality but never given any chance to work with it
