This is a lovely book that shows how the Romans used to live. The lift the flap is used to great effect to see interesting and sometimes funny details in the scenes illustrated. A great gift for a child.

Well researched and good quality content.But some of the books in this series, with the same number of pages and flaps (such as on Science and How Things Work), cost only GBP 3.99 when bought at Lidl. Thus, paying over GBP 10 for this item seems very expensive.

My granddaughter loved this book. She was doing Ancient Rome as a topic at school. Excellent book for her to explore the Roman history. So we'll illustrated. Great quality.

I bought this book two years ago for my son (now 8 years old) and he still loves it. It's one of his favourites. The facts are so interesting and it is well illustrated. With so many flaps to lift, they'll be happily entertained for a while.

We love all the little flaps. Very informative but fun. My kids loved it (8 & 10)!

This covered several key areas of Roman life and really engaged my bright 5 year old. It is perhaps not as detailed as some in the collection (how things work and space) but it really sparked his interest in this period of history.

Fun for young ones to learn about romans. Great to reinforce learning at home.
