Bought this product for my peripheral neuropathy which I have very badly, and my aching and pain and numbness has been greatly reduced and I still have 20 tablets left, it is also helping my brain in some way as well, so double bonus. This is NOT actual allithiamine. Which is the natural fat soluble form of B1 found in garlic when you crush or mince it. This form is TTFD. This is not necessarily a bad thing though! TTFD - Considered a modern synthetic counterpart to allithiamine. I have ordered it to see if it is effective. According to google: TTFD (thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide) is generally considered equally or more effective than generic Allithiamine (thiamine allyl disulfide) for increasing bioavailability. Both are fat-soluble thiamine disulfides that easily cross cell membranes and enter the brain. TTFD is often preferred for superior tissue penetration. TTFD is regarded as having a more powerful metabolic effect than standard thiamine (B1) and is highly effective for addressing chronic fatigue, gut absorption issues, and nerve. Get five star, until I can judge it fairly.

I bought this a decade ago, it was incredible for relaxation and it was very pungent, very strong garlic smell. Now they hardly smell and have minimal effect.

I have purchased this many times. Recently the label has changed to All Thiamine. One closer inspection the product itself has also changed. The product is now Thiamine (water soluble B1) not Allithiamine (lipid soluble B1). A significantly cheaper product, with less efficient absorption. Clearly with a sneaky label change and failing to update their amazon profile they are hoping no one will notice!
