DermOpt Itchy Dog Shampoo, Conditioner, Moisturiser (250ml)

Stops my Dog chewing at himself and problems with itching, tried allsorts from Vets, this is the only Product that works, my Dog is a 10 year old Jack Russell he only has problems in hot summer months, this really works I have also loaned the bottle to neighbours and friends to use on their dogs, and they have been so impressed they have purchased it as well, it's just a shame it doesn't have a long expiry date, I have been purchasing this product for over 5 years, I definitely Recommend it, hope this review helps someone

I've used this twice on Mr. Pig my chocolate lab - it definitely works. He was very sore and red and stinky. Flaky patches have cleared up and his coat is beautifully shiny. His hair on chest and tummy is just beginning to grow back. Best of all from our point of view is that he doesn't smell any more! Used in conjunction with the spray he's a much happier dog. I wouldn't dream of spending this much on shampoo for myself but I don't smell like a festering compost heap. If I did I would use this stuff. It doesn't lather up much but gently rubbing over the affected areas and leaving on for a couple of minutes does the trick.Take the plunge and invest in this, highly recommended.

Well I am super impressed with this shampoo! Bruce the border terrier struggles every year with skin allergies to pollen and grass, he has been particularly bad this year. Several doses of steriods and an array of creams and shampoos can work to keep the itching at bay but his poor coat is always greasy and feels dirty. I can't vouch for the anti itch in this shampoo yet (only just been bathed) but his coat is super soft and shiney, really feels clean after just one wash. I followed the instructions and left on for a few minutes in the bath before showering off (I'm lucky bruce is patient!). He has honestly never looked so clean. Doesnt lather up much and not scented, but this doesn't bother me after using stinky medicated shampoos! I'm hopeful for a settled night next to me with less scratching!!

Helped ease but never cleared it up as more serious ended up at vets was skin complaint not just general itching in the end better to take them if problem continues for more than few days. May have worked better if wasn’t such a serious skin issue

Our 1 yr old English Bull terrier 'Maisie' is deaf and has severe food and skin allergies. After being placed on prescription food and antihistamines long term, we found that she was still chewing her paws raw. We arranged blood tests to check for environmental issues, however, the only thing she was allergic to were storage mites. Anyhow, after trying MANY shampoos and getting nowhere fast, we took our chances with this....BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE...after 2 washes Maisie stopped chewing and scratching at herself. Her fur is now beautiful and glossy. This product may be expensive but so worth it. We bath her twice a week after she has been to 'doggy day care'...we add a capful to bath water and let her soak for 20 mins...then rub a little into each paw before rinsing her. I would definitely recommend this product 👍

Fabulous shampoo, have only used it a couple of times but even after the first wash you can instantly see and feel the difference in puppy's hair. Feels silky and so soft, doesn't leave any perfume smell just clean and it's very thick gel like not like s normal shampoo so you don't need too much. Lathers up nicely without being too bubbly and rinses out well. I shampooed all over then left it on whilst washing face with a cloth then rinse it off so it has time to work 😉 Overall a great product, my puppy doesn't scratch herself half as much already, I would definiately recommend & will be purchasing again.

Product seems to be very good. My dog was continually scratching and as this product is a fraction of the cost of a vets visit I decided to try it. My dog has reduced his scratching and his coat looks sleek and smells fresh. I am continuing to use this product and will ensure that is always in stock.
