iTouchless AC Power Adapter for Automatic Sensor Trash Cans, Official and Manufacturer Certified, UL Listed, Energy Saving

First of all, I have been using batteries on my touchless garbage can for years and spending a ton of money till I found out they have an adapter. It works so wonderful and well worth the money no more batteries. I did have to buy a new top because my old one was shot, but it was worth the money

iTouchless Deodorizer Touch-Free Sensor 13-Gallon Automatic Stainless-Steel Trash Can (Kitchen) Not only does this trash can look great, it works like magic. I never considered even buying one until I saw this one advertised. It keeps the trash contained and the smells covered. It is so easy to use. I purchased the adapter when I purchased the trash can. Both the Adapter and the Trash can have been life saver. No Expensive of constant replacing batteries. This also makes the adaptor cost effective. I love the fact that all I have to do is walk over to trash can and it opens. No touching your hands on anything else in there. No pedal. Totally awesome! Linda Loschiavo Makofski

Works perfectly

For some reason, my no-touch trash can has an on/off switch on it - what's the point of having a no-touch trash can if you're gonna turn it on and off with a switch? So, mine is left on all the time. This means I'm regularly having to replace the batteries, usually every couple weeks. Enter this A/C adaptor. Not much to say about it - we've all used A/C adaptors before, and this one does what it's supposed to do. I figure it'll pay for itself in a couple months, plus I don't have to worry about the trash can getting "tired" when the batteries start to wear out, which had happened before. When the batteries start losing their charge, the lid doesn't open all the way. This is no longer a problem now that I have the can plugged in.

Original power adaptor failed after less than 11 months of daily use. (Cord separated at wall unit). Replacement process was easy and uneventful. New uint works as expected. Placed label on power (wall) unit containing date it was installed which will make it easier to replace should the need occur. Please note: Regular inspections of all similar units within a household should be a routine semi-annual (if not more frequent) event. In spite of their low voltage, they can pose a hazard and should be inspected routinely.

The cord is a good length. Attaching it is a breeze. When taking off the cover of the trash can for emptying, it is best to UNPLUG THE POWER CORD before proceeding to protect the hinge of the cover.

I got it in 2 days! Easy assembly. I plugged in the adapter and it works like a charm. Just for the record, for the price of the garbage can, it should have included the adapter! We had an iTouchless before but this one is much quieter. Now, this is day one but I give it 5 stars for the quick delivery, the appearance, the quick set up and how quiet it is! I also love that it stays open for longer than the last one I had. I hope this one lasts longer. :)
