I love Jane Austen gentle sense of humour. I also love the BBC dramatisation of each of her novels, and their choice of actors for each part

Lovely gift for a Jane Austen fan. Good price and just a lovely collection.

It was marked as dispatched a week ago on Monday but has only been delivered today, Wednesday. I was beginning to wonder if it’d arrive. Anyway, it looks fine although I haven’t yet played the collection.

Excellent box set containing superb adaptations of all six novels.

Apart from Pride and Prejudice, very poor adaptations. The BBC have produced some excellent adaptations recently, but these are all very old and clearly cheaply made. Very unhappy.

Acting was poor the whole production was average only

me lo aveva chiesto in questa versione una mia amica,poiché' si trovano solo le versioni più' recenti, con nuovi attori e protagonisti, ho comprato questa versioneoriginale della BBC se non erro, VERSIONE TELEVISIVA INGLESE, SENZA DOPPIAGGIO, con il noto attore inglese, e, devo dire che e' ben fatta.la qualità' video non ha pretese poiché' si tratta del riversamento da VHS a DVD senza essere stato restaurato.la mia amica e' rimasta molto contenta e l'audio originale in lingua inglese e' ben fatto.dato che la mia amica conosce le lingue non ha avuto problemi a guardarselo tutto d'un fiato.
