Did the job perfectly after I broke my Kitchen Aid, certainly cheaper than a new one, would recommend having a go replacing before sending your KA off to repair 👍

The "OEM" KitchenAid Worm Gear Bracket Assembly, as advertised, is an extremely poorly made imitation that could cause further damage to your KitchenAid mixer.This part is certainly NOT a genuine OEM component.The gearing exhibits significant lateral movement compared to the original, likely due to the use of plastic bushings instead of the metal ones found in the authentic part. The molding quality is shockingly poor, with several metal burrs that, if they detach, will almost certainly damage your mixer. The locating pin at the top of the assembly is half the size of the original, and the weight difference between the two parts is substantial, further indicating the inferior quality of this replacement. Avoid this product at all costs.
