Used it once so far. Produces good results. Some good vids on YouTube showing how to use it. And I need all the help I can get. It does look the part, as long as you follow the ground rules. I tried to mix it up a bit on a Panther exhaust last night, and it looked like it was painted in a vague rust colour. It’s possible to get great results from what’s supplied. If I had a complaint ( and I haven’t!) it would be that some sort of texturising product be in the set. Well done Vallejo. Love your products.

Overall am happy however the wash paint was leaking when I opened the box up so not too happy about that

Excellent paint set for model kits and miniature figures. Vallejo are currently the largest paint range available and they are manufactured to the highest quality. The paints are acrylic and can be thinned with acrylic thinners or water. Brushes can be cleaned in warm soapy water. The paints are waterproof when dry and they provide an excellent base coat over which inks, thin acrylics, enamels or oils can be applied as a wash / shade / highlight. Matte of gloss varnish is needed to protect the finished artwork. This set has the colours needed to recreate rust and weather stains on buildings and vehicles.

Great all round selection of colours for rust effects, would recommend as you save quite a bit from buying seperately

This set is really nice, Not only does it come with an instruction book for modelers who are just beginning to learn weathering techniques, but it has all the colors needed already mixed to bring realism to any project you have. I love Vallejo acrylic paints as they are easy to use and, because they are water based, they are easy to clean up. If you want to add that touch of realism to your next project than I recommend this set.
