Fairly easy to install, great way to renew your headphones
I had the typical flaking and deterioration of the leather of my ear cups of my Beats Studio 3 headphones. A friend suggested I look into just replacing the cups, and I’m glad I did! This kit was very reasonably priced, and the replacement isn’t very complicated. The kit came with two new ear cups, and a plastic guitar pick type tool to remove the old ones. After trying to use that tool for a bit, I opted to use a butter knife. If you are afraid of scratching your headphones, maybe stick with the tool, it just felt a little too flimsy to do the job for me so that’s why I switched. The ear cups came off with a little effort, and thankfully most of the adhesive/glue with it. I used alcohol wipes to really clean the area and get the residual glue off before working to install the new ear cups.It might be obvious, but be sure to install the one with the notch for the charging port on the right side. For install, peel the adhesive backing, line up the little nubs that protrude out with the holes on the cups, and adhere them. Prior to putting the cups on, I heated the adhesive with a hair dryer for a little bit to get a better adhesion. After that, the instructions recommend putting them over some books to apply pressure for an overnight if possible.I haven’t tested noise cancelling (I don’t really use that), but overall the cups fit comfortably and definitely made my two year old headphones basically brand new again. I recommend these!

Better than the original pads.
My husband needed new ear pads for his Beats Studios. It wasn't even that old or used, and it still needed to be replaced due to flaking. I contacted Apple to see how much it would cost to replace this product (the sound was fine and nothing else was wrong with it), they told me it wasn't something they replaced and I would have to buy a new set of Studios. Being that they were barely used, and worked just fine, I opted to do some research, and someone recommended this pair to me and this is what I purchased. My husband said he wished this came with a scraper like other brands did, it would have made things easier, but for the most part it wasn't that hard to change--he completed it within a few minutes. He has since used it and it works just fine, in fact, he recommended it to our housemate and he swapped his out too. Both of have said it was more comfortable than the original ones.

Great purchase, can’t tell the difference
These are very similar to the original Studio 3 beats headphone pads. Shown is Desert Sand - the color is slightly off from the originals, but it’s not noticeable after the pads are attached - a good color match overall. It seems like the same material, and are very comfortable. These are a little thicker than the originals. It was a snap to remove the old pads and apply the new ones. Definitely use a butter knife and take your time, don’t rush or be rough. The instructions are spot on, good illustrations and easy to understand.

Fit my headphones great
I have a Vankyo pair of headphones, which I just learned are Beats Studio 3 clones. No wonder they sound great, but Vankyo probably cheaped out on the microphone. Anyway. These earmuff replacemens are perfect matches for the Beats Studio 3 (and its clones). I followed the instructions, and the old ones came right off. The new ones are a new color which adds a little style to my headphones. I have used them already and they feel like original equipment. Very niiiiiiice!

Perfect fit
Ordered these to replace the original ones on our Beats in this same color. They were easy to put on and are working well. Watched a YouTube video and decided to try a butter knife instead of using the pick like thing they came with it. Butter knife worked great!

Indistinguishable from oem
Easy to replace and can’t even tell they weren’t the ear pads that came with the beats headphones.

Does the Job, Worth It Overall
If you own Beats you will be exploring earpad replacements at some point. And when you do it's likely you'll ultimately land on either Wicked Cushions or these SoloWits for your final choice. Honestly, having installed both, either is a fine option and will breath new life into your flakey disintegrating headphones. Color can be a consideration as well where Beats are concerned so you may find one brand works better on that front. If so, it's totally fine to let that be the determining factor - SW and WC are that close in overall quality. There are, however, a few very minor points that might give WC a slight edge when comparing apples to apples. The Small Differences: I was a little disappointed when the SoloWITs arrived and I noticed they did not have 3M adhesive. It's a relatively small thing, but something I actually thought about before purchasing. I don't know when they switched to a generic but that's what came with mine. And during installation there were a few indications it may not perform as well as 3M, although everything seems fine at the moment so that's pure speculation. The WCs also have a slightly firmer cushion. Personally I view that as a positive but both are completely comfortable. The SoloWITs are were also slightly darker than the original and the WC's (in my case, Titanium). Not a big deal for me, but something to be aware of.Installation: Totally easy, but tedious. I would suggest using something more substantial than the included plastic guitar pick thing to pry them off, which helped remove more of the original adhesive. Or maybe use the plastic thing to start if you're really worried about scratches, but switch to something like a butterknife. Then comes the most time consuming part; cleaning off the old glue. You really have to get the old stuff off though to get a good stick with the replacements. Probably not a bad idea to have a bottle of rubbing alcohol on hand to supplement what they supply. Removing the paper backing of the glue strips on the SoloWits was surprisingly difficult, and one place I certainly lamented the absence of good ol' 3M. It's hard to get that off without pulling it off so go slow and be careful. Once you get the new pads on you really should use books or whatever to apply some extra pressure and let them 'cure' for a full day before using. If you put the extra time in cleaning the old adhesive off and letting the new pads fully dry before using the headphones you should be really pleased with the final result.

Very high quality, but can be tricky to put on
These were surprisingly high quality. Very fine and soft leather, at least it seems like that to me as they didn’t have any plastic smell. Super soft, beautiful and very comfortable! They were very tricky to put on however. One bud was easy, the other one a nightmare. One of the original Beats buds had adhesive that just wouldn’t come off when I removed the bud, and there were no instructions to how to remove that remaining adhesive. It took quite a lot of Googling to figure it out, but essentially try making a small cut in it and then PEEL it off once you get a grip on it. Second, on one of these replacement buds the red adhesive protector simply wouldn’t come off either, so I almost removed the whole adhesive strip and the plastic ring. Almost gave up on it, but right before I was going to send it back I maned to get it off. Despite these struggles, I still give this product 5 stars because the product is really great and I’m super happy with it now when it’s on. Just note that it could be a tricky job, depending on if you’re lucky with the original bud removal or not. I was lucky with one of the buds, the other one was very hard.

Brand new and excellent colour match
I purchased this product after my original earpads had started to shed (almost three years). The colour match is excellent and they look as they did brand new out of the box. This was something I was concerned regarding other brands but this not a problem here. The earpads don’t feel like an improvement to the original as the foam felt exactly the same once on.I found a couple of YouTube videos which helped me avoid a couple of pitfalls. I soon found the gap and once wedged the tool provided in it made removal pretty straightforward - well for the right ear - left ear was comparatively more difficult.I emailed customer service regarding additional adhesive and alcohol wipes and got a reply the same day. They had decided to discontinue both but they did say the adhesive could be purchased on their website and you could be refunded for this. I did find the cover on the adhesive difficult to remove without damaging it and would recommend tweezers on hand as well as isopropyl alcohol to remove the original adhesive which is incredibly sticky!!I did do the book method for almost 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fuse to the earpads. The earpads were sitting flush to the headphones, I’d recommend aligning the earpad to the headphone before taking peeling the protective layer off the adhesive. And to ensure the seam is at the bottom and that the one with the notch is applied to the correct side.Excited to see how long these lasts and glad that I was able to repair my headphones with these instead of contributing to e-waste.
