This is really great, worked well with my laptop and provides more ports that the laptop doesn't have, works straight out of the box

I have an iPad Pro and I wanted to use it as a media center (to play audio as well as movies) connected to my monitor and USB DAC. So I bought this device and it works perfectly.I connected the Type C cable to my iPad and the connected the HDMI cable to the TP-Link Dock. I then connected a USB cable to my MiniDSP DAC and the other end to the Dock. By default, the screen is mirrored to the monitor. But supported apps like Netflix, Prime Video, VLC Player etc will display full screen on the monitor. You can also connect a charger and it will charge the connected device, in this case, my iPad.So, I'm 100% satisfied with the purchase. I don't need to power on my gaming laptop to see movies. I can just connect my iPad to the monitor and USB DAC through the Dock for a great movie experience.I wish Apple would implement a stage manager with configurable display settings though.

But honestly, I’d rather cut off a finger than complain. A cheap USB C extension fixes it, and life goes on.This hub isn’t just a hub. It’s a guardian of sanity, a heroic little beast holding my entire work-from-home existence together. Without it, I’d be cursing at my laptop, throwing peripherals across the room, and possibly crying into my teacup. With it? I’m a tech god, commanding cables and screens with a single heroic USB C plug.Buy it. Praise it. Worship it. Or live in the miserable hell of one-port laptops and eternal frustration. Your call.

Good USB-C hub for Mac. I use it with my M1 MacBook Pro and it works fine. Only downside is it can get a bit warm when using a few ports & pass through charging, but works fine.Slgiht downside is the fact that it takes a while for the monitor to recognise the connection - not the speediest. It took around 8-10 seconds from connecting to displaying.Otherwise a good USB hub.

A well built and smart design as I have come to expect from TP link products. Good value for money expansion hub for my laptop running Windows11. Plug and play, no installation required. The hub gives extra high speed USB ports, a high speed ethernet port and an additional HDMI monitor connection.

Wonderful, it gave me the network port my laptop was missing. Bonus being able to charge the laptop and still have spare USB ports. Pop it in and you're good to go. Does the job and small enough to fit in my laptop bag.

Great piece of kit. I needed an ethenet to USB C for my laptop and the ability to plug in a webcam, mouse, keyboard and HDMI second screen. This is so simple and effective- worked perfectly as soon as I connected it.

Great product, have been using this for a while now with my steam deck and laptop. The 2 USB Cs are a must have feature.Very good value for money.

After nearly three years of periodic use, I can say this product performs well or reliably. While I experienced occasional drops in the hotspot connection, this was likely related to network instability or the hotspot itself.

My laptop's wifi adapter started acting finicky, so I bought this external adapter. It is fast, I get around 200-300 mbps out of my 1 gig internet, and the connection is stable. It wasn't difficult to set up. I also like how small it is. However, I have noticed it gets a bit hot.
