Worked perfect for my project and with a great price

Exactly what I was looking for
I needed to mount a security light on my garage and have used these in the past. I was able to buy them at my local Menards in the past but they no longer carry them so I turned to Amazon. The quality is exactly the same as the ones I've purchased from local store in the past, might even been the same brand. They install effortlessly and look great on vinyl siding. I will be purchasing more.

Mounting a light outside, anywhere!
This mounting plate worked great for mounting an outside light on our siding. This was a great fit with our siding. I wasn't sure how we were going to mount the new light were there was no mounting block on the siding. This mounting plate, saved the day. Thank God for Amazon!!

Simple install on vinyl sided wall. Paintable
No wire box needed. It's part of this item. Easy install with wires from house or garage fed into the mounting block. Regular exterior paint sticks to it fine.Not big enough for multiple wire connections like a junction box, but outside lights usually don't have many wires to them.

Really nice mounting block/box combo
You honestly can't beat the value of this. It gives you a code compliant box, it mounts easy, the included hardware is high quality and the construction is very solid. Went up in minutes, zero complaints, fit well. Very pleased.
