Calsberg don't do pipe wrenches...
This one of of those tools where it's almost impossible to explain why it works so well. The only way to know is to actually use it. You can get it in where the you think you can't, you have the confidence that it'll hold when other tools you wouldn't, it's just the best small adjustable pipe wrench in the world. Simple as that.I like the smooth grip, no marks, no worry. I like that it opens so wide for a spanner this size and because a Ridgid, it's built like a castle. There are cheaper alternatives that will "do the job", but everything else is a compromise.

Definitely a winner
One of the lads at work calls it a "weird and wonderful" and I've got to admit, its got me out of a few scraps so far already and I've only had it a few months.Opens wider the pair of 12 inch bahco movers I have in my tool case, slightly awkward in the case but its invaluable to have. Less bulk and weight then my 18 inch stilsons.Definitely a winner

Rugged.
I like the narrow front jaw , able to get in close space. Used it on my water pump flanges. Which are close to a wall.
