This is a good quality product, albeit expensive. The one design flaw in my opinion is the connection between the wrist band and the mat. The wrist band connector is a crocodile clip, the mat has a raised stud (?) type connection. The two are not a good match in that the wrist band disconnects very easily from the mat, which sort of defeats the object of the product. It would have been perfect if the product was supplied with a compatible connector.

Ideal for delicat components

Now I used this to build my first PC. After reading online if it was needed or not. I bought it. If anything it helped define a work space on the floor whilst I built my PC but also gave me reassurance and confidence that I wasn't going to destroy my system via static shock. Would recommend, it is always better to be safer than sorry.

It does the job well! I had no issues with it when building my pc. I would definitely recommend getting this kit instead of an individual anti static wrist band. This product is great for the value and gives you extra peace of mind and protection.

This item is a standard out bargain. Other antique static mats are available for much higher prices that are less convenient less quality and have less accessories, great product, genuinely.

I've not fried anything at the least. This kit was super expensive for what you get and I only bought it because I was paranoid about static. Who knows if it worked, but the PC turns on.

Excellent produit, indispensable dès qu'on touche à l'électronique ou à des dmontages d'appareils. On prétend souvent qu'on peut le faire sans précaution et que cea marche. C'est vrai mais les statistiques d'usine ont prouvé que la durée de vie duprouit pouvait en être réduite jusqu'à 40% !
