Insurance that your rabbit is getting fibre
Fibre is singularly the most important component of a rabbit's diet. Essential for long-term health and gut mobility. For rabbits that don't get enough hay in their diets maybe because they were never introduced to it when they were young or whatever the reason fibafirst helps to fill this gap. It is one of the highest in fibre of the manufactured foods. You can see that it's predominantly fibre-based from just looking at it. Unlike the normal rabbit nuggets these are in the form of approximately 10 cm sticks which resembles chipboard. Whilst they are not entirely hundred percent fibre they have enough other flavourings and texture to encourage your rabbit to eat them. And while there is no comparison to Timothy hay for keeping good denture health they are much better than nothing.I do not base my rabbit's diet entirely on this preferring to give him a small handful of nuggets and try to encourage him to eat his feeding hay which is always present in his feeders. I give him about 6 sticks a day to ensure he is getting enough fibre in his diet. Obviously given the choice of eating the relatively high in sugars and molasses nuggets and something which resembles sticks of compressed chipboard or cardboard he(or she) is going to prefer the less healthy choice. But you always manages to eat them usually over the night when he becomes active after sun down. I thoroughly recommend these for those rabbits which are finicky eaters or just choose to avoid eating hay. On the other hand, if your rabbit has no problem with eating hay in the main then you won't need this. In fact you wouldn't need rabbit nuggets either.

Mixed reaction at first, but with perseverance are now a key part of daily diet.
Update after 8 months (stars changed from 3 to 5):At first my bunnies adored this treat, they could not get enough of it, but the novelty wore off and they stopped eating the sticks after a month. However, the nutritional content of the fibafirst sticks is excellent, very high in fibre which is beneficial if you have bunnies that have previously had gut stasis problems. They also help with keeping teeth nice and trim.So after giving them a break I persevered and it paid off. My bunnies now have a few sticks plus a few science selective nuggets morning and night, and they always eat them. This has enabled me to reduce the quantity of their nuggets and I'm sure will help maintain a healthy weight, in conjunction with lots and lots of hay. As a bonus the 2kg box really does last well! Make sure you keep a peg on the top of the bag as I the bag tag is easily lost and it is important to keep the fibasticks fresh.I would recommend to others, but you may need to persevere. Rabbits, like children will go for 'new' or less healthy options, so make sure to only offer them a range of healthy foods!

great value
I bought these as one of my rabbits has a very dodgy stomach and is sensitive. She can either do small poops or awill have a bit of runny poop. The vets had recommended these to get extra fibre down her. She won't take one if you offer her one, she wants treats or nuggets instead, but if you leave these out she will snaffle them up. It's made a massive difference to her little bowel and we're both happy! You get A BIG box which I wasn't expecting, but no complaints as it was incredible value for money at £10.99!

Incredibly good value
I have 9 guinea pigs and like to get them little treats and chews for their teeth and for interest. A lot of commercially available ones have a lot of sugar and are quite expensive. These are fantastic value. The box is quite large but they last ages. I chuck a few in every few days and it supplements their regular nuggets and fresh food. If you put them in too much they get bored of them. You can easily break them in 2 or 3 to put in the bowl too. Haven’t got much scent but that’s probably because they’re not sweet. Recommended
