I specifically got some to clean tea stains from some spoons and mugs, it did a fantastic job. The spoons were particularly badly stained, to the point that rough scrubbing made very little difference. Soaked them in this for an hour, gave a light wipe down and rise, now they look brand new.

This product is awesome. Made my old tea stained flask look like new. You definitely need to do it in the sink as it does fizz up a lot. On the plus side it took the stains off the stainless steel plug hole. Took some of the enamel off of the top of the flask, so will need to find a way to protect it next time. Good value for money as it only took a tablespoon to make the flask look like new.

Astonish is a good name for this product, because astonished is what I am after using it. Do I give it 5 stars? No. 10 stars, at least. Really, it's beyond stars. It's galaxy class!!! I am totally amazed. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get years of accumulated coffee and tea stains out of an old cup? Seriously? I have a coffee cup (china / porcelain / whatever) that I got in 1993 and have used every day since then. Several cups of coffee in the morning, and one of tea in the evening. It was originally white, but over the years the inside turned brown. Dish lotion and scrubbing didn't faze it. I tried everything, every kind of cleaner product imaginable, Ajax, bleach, acetone, Goo Gone, isopropyl alcohol, Drano... even a drill with a green scrubby wheel. A combination of bleach, salt, and isopropyl alcohol faded the brown a little bit, but not by much. So I took a chance on this stuff. What the heck. It's not expensive. I might have to wait a few weeks for it to be delivered, but nothing ventured nothing gained, right? Well, it arrived, and I followed the directions. Fill the cup with hot water, add half a tablespoon, and let it sit and fizz for a couple of hours. When I dumped out the water and looked inside the cup... voila, no brown. Just a pristine, sparkling white like the day I got it brand new back in 1993. I didn't even have to scrub it. The brown stains just poured right out along with the water. I did the same with 2 other coffee cups. Same results. This stuff really works. I paid for it out of my own pocket. I don't work for the company that makes it, and I wasn't offered any reward or incentive of any kind for writing this review. I am just truly amazed at how well it works, and am telling anyone who wants to get their old stained cups perfectly clean and looking like new, you should try this stuff. You will not be disappointed. One other comment: I also used this product to clean a glass Mr. Coffee coffee pot, and it worked just as well on that as on my coffee cups. I had forgotten how clean glass should sparkle until I saw the results.

I'm not sure this actually does anything that a little elbow grease and baking powder could not do. Not impressed with this or other Astonish products.

Pardon the pun but -- this cleaner is Truly "Astonish--ing" / Unbelievable!! I bought it to clean an electric coffee percolator that I've been using daily, for years, all the parts of which had become extremely stained & pretty disgusting looking ... So bad that I was ready to throw it away ... I bought this Astonish Cleaner as a "last resort" -- Nothing else e.g. baking soda and / or vinegar combos, etc., etc. had done much to get rid of the extensive / built up coffee stains AND THEN -- Almost Miraculously -- after using this Astonish Cleaner as directed -- in half an hour -- every single part of my badly stained coffee percolator became Totally Sparkling Clean -- I was truly Amazed!! Hurray!! -- My Percolator looks Brand New!! Unbelievable how easy to use and ASTONISHing this cleaner is -- I love it!! Buy it -- Try it and you will love it too!!
