No - leave your pump running and the UV filter on. I have used cloverleaf for many years now and it usually only needs one treatment per year - just check that the pond water temperature is high enough (the instructions should stste the minimum temperature) as it may be a bit early to treat the pond despite the recent warm weather.

after a week you can use the sludge remover it takes about 4 to 5 days for your water to clear so leave it 2 to 3daus after it clears before using the sludge remover

Do you need to turn off the filter after dosing, as my pump filter clears most of it after a few hours?

I have a Cloverleaf CL3 filter tank system and always keep the pump running after adding the Blanket Answer. The pond water looks milky at first but clears after a day or so. I haven't seen any evidence of a build-up of the white residue in the filter media if your concern is that the filter is removing the Blanket Answer. I always distribute the powder in small doses as per the instructions.
