uni JETSTREAM 4&1 Red, Green, Blue, and Black 0.7mm Ballpoint Multi Pen and 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil (Light Blue)

I thought these were 4 in 1, and some were black, blue, red, green, and some were black, blue, red, pencil. But turns out, they're 4 + 1, they have 4 pen colors, plus a pencil. Or at least this one is, which was a nice surprise. I like the barrel color, the 4 colors are all smooth like I'd expect from Jetstream, and the pencil is fine. Not sure how to refill it yet. Barrel is rubberized at the grip, but not soft. I used to have multiple pens at my desk, but any time I leave the desk, I only bring one. Got this so I could have all 4 options away from the desk. Not that cheap, but worth it for my use case. Also like that it's unlikely for somebody to take it on accident

I love the Uni Jestream pens! They're sized well, have lots of features and look professional. This is important because if you need a 4-color pen you don't want to look like a junior-high kid bringing his pen to school. I'm a software engineer and it's handy to have all of these colors because I can write code notes in the same colors as my development environment, making things easier to read and this pen doesn't make me look unprofessional. Also, the .7mm refills are compatible with the 5mm refills, so this particular pen comes with .7mm which I swapped with my .5mm pen which I prefer those sizes with each pen, so that's convenient for me.

I love this pen. I have bought these for the last 8 years. They work great. Smooth writing. The bottom tends to unscrew from the top of you carry it in your pants pocket. My careful.

I like this pen a lot, it's my go-to. I've gone through maybe 10+ of these pens, and have given them as gifts to friends too. I've purchased almost all of the colors (black, gray, white, dark pink, blue), except the green. I'm a visual person so I like to take notes and use different colors, for example if I'm taking notes at work in my work notebook everything is in black, but if something pops in my head that is non-work related, I write it down in blue; if it's important and needs to be addressed immediately I use red. I diagram or draw mind maps a lot too for note taking so I utilize the different colors to highlight different levels or values in what I write or draw. In addition to the 4 colors, there is a pencil option and an eraser tip. I love having all of these options in one writing instrument. Some people don't like how this pens feels which requires a widee hand grip. However my understanding is that this thicker pen is actually better for your hand grip and should prevent hand cramps that you can get with regular "skinny" pens after writing with that hand/fingers position for a long time. I would have rated the pen 5 stars, however the ink runs out quickly since there is a smaller amount of ink due to needing to make room for all ink colors and the pencil lead (so it shouldn't be a big deal, I just keep extra spare black ink refills handy which you can also purchase on Amazon). Also, the ink for all the colors aren't always a nice rich dark color and the ink quality isn't consistent with every pen. Sometimes the green or red tend to be extremely light, or the ink doesn't flow out of the pen that nicely. Wish there was more consistency with this, I would pay more for consistent good quality ink.

The Uni Jetstream 4+1 is an easy to hold, well-made, smooth-writing pen. I like that the black ink is black. Very black. I like that the blue ink is a dark, vibrant blue. The Green is the same shade of green as used on Universal Plotting Sheets, used for marine navigation. The red stands out as well. The ink cartridges can be "uneven" in that there's the occasional bad one. 0.5 is good for notes. 0.7 is good for general writing, and is my preference. The bold 1mm is a little more prone to smudge, but makes a subtle statement. "Giftable" is not yet a word, but these make a good gift for anyone who has to make detailed, written notes,, logs, or has a carpal tunnel situation.

How to refill the pencil lead is different from the instructions the Amazon AI suggests which is to remove the end cap and eraser and insert lead into that opening. WRONG. Like many Japanese multi pens with mechanical pencils, there is NO opening under the eraser. Instead, unscrew the pen body as if you are going to replace one of the ink colors, look for the seam on the metal lead holder and gently slide it apart. That is the small opening to insert the lead. I suggest limiting the lead refills to two to avoid jamming.

Such an improvement from the old Bic multi-colored pens of the past. Sharp colors, easy glide onto the paper, good looking, great for my day planner & notetaking, NO ink leaking through paper, EASY to move from one color to the next, comes in many nice exterior colors, it has a pencil op too which I have been using more than I expected..... I love this pen and it went beyond my expectations. It also DOES NOT SMEAR when I write and that is saying a lot as I am a left-hand writer and for those of you who are one/know one, this is a big deal. Another plus is that you can buy refills so the footprint is less wasteful. However, just like with anything, longevity is going to depend on how you treat your material possessions. It is not that you have to be delicate with it but do remember it's not meant to be ever-lasting. Treat it with respect & care and I am guessing it will last longer. Lastly, it is important not to compare this to a single colored pen. There are better writing tools for that. Remember the extraordinary capability of this particular pen is that THIS pen has 4 colors & pencil in one, so it belongs in its own category. If you judge by this, you may find yourself with the best of the bunch. By the way, I am a legit user, this is not a fake review, and now come to think of it...the company should really hire me. Lol. ps. I have only owned this pen a few days so if I get around to it I will try to do a follow up later this year.

Compé el bolígrafo por su versatilidad ya que dispones de portaminas y de 3 colores (rojo azul y negro) cuando realizas el cambio de uno a otro nunca se atasca y al escribir es muy cómodo. En cuanto al precio uno de los más competitivos 8.60€ lo que los bolígrafos de esta clase no bajan de los 16€ como poco Un auténtico acierto
