HNNHOME Rubber Plastic Bath Shower Screen Seal Strip for 4-6mm Glass Door Up to 22mm Gap (Straight)

Purchased as a like for like replacement on a Merlyn shower screen. The seal strip arrived well protected and very importantly, it's dimensions as listed were accurate. Both rigid and flexible where required, the seal was easy to cut and install. Fit wise it was perfect and provides the seal along the top of the bath that was needed. Compared to the OEM version, this is very good value for money.

Great item, value for money and does the job retaining water in bath. First delivery was damaged in post but got a full refund and replacement very quickly which was not damaged. Very easy to cut to size and fit. Excellent

Should have read the review about placing the strip into warm water, to make it more pliable. Obviously I didn’t do this; just went straight in and got annoyed at not being able to slide it along the base of the glass, or even push it up onto the base of the glass. Grrrrrr. Silly old me added a tiny slither of Vaseline, onto the glass, which worked a treat, but it is now not as secure as it should be. You can also see the Vaseline through the plastic. Might take it off, soak in bubbly warm water to remove the Vaseline and start again. Don’t use grease!!! That’s my advice. Also, trim the strip where you won’t see it; for example nearest the wall. It’s really hard to cut with a blade, I ended up using scissors, and it made the plastic go white. Don’t do that either! Luckily it cannot be seen. Proof is in the pudding with regards to how long it lasts, but it is very good at keeping the water in. I don’t understand the tube, it just harbours water. Surely that will just go mouldy? Right… off to scrub out the Vaseline with an old toothbrush and some bubbles, and start again.

Cercavo da tempo un articolo simile per cambiare la vecchia guarnizione della doccia e non avevo trovato ancora niente di valido. Questa tiene (usata già da qualche settimana). La curvatura è giusta, attenzione al montaggio, bisogna riscaldarla con il phon per attivarla al vetro altrimenti rimane troppo rigida.

Fácil de instalar. La curva predefinida no fue suficiente pero se pudo forzar siguiendo la curva de la puerta abatible
