Easy to cut to size and more flexible I thought it would be. Used to cover drainage outside to keep the leaves from blocking it. has done the job

Bought this roll of mesh for a very small job in the garden, stopping stones falling down the drain cover!We'd looked for ages to find something that would cover a small circular drain cover that sits bang in the middle of a path of garden stones but couldn't find what we needed. Then came across this, which seems to actually be for gutters and stopping leaves falling in. It's quite a substantial roll of hard, but flexible, black plastic mesh that's easily cut to size with some scissors.Whilst our intent was to bend this around the circular cover we found it a little too stiff to be able to do that so it now just sits on top of the cover held in place by some stones (note, it doesn't come with any kind of fixings!) and does the job brilliantly. This did what it said on the tin. It will not just fit in the UK half round gutters so clips are necessary I found the Gutter Brush clips worked OK, but I expect you could twist wire around it or use long cable ties as well as it is only a way of getting the mesh to rest atop the gutter! Looking back, I expect it would have been a bit cheaper to buy the clips and mesh as a kit, but I only found that item after I'd bought them separately. Still, despite the horrendous recent gales and storms, the gutters on my sheds remain rubbish free, so job done well and cheaply!

I had to get a roofer to fit it for me as it's a bit of effort to install it whilst up a ladder, and he's used to doing things like that at height. We have a moss problem on the roof tiles and the gutter is always getting full of clumps of moss. This works really well and the moss ends up rolling over it and falls down to the ground for an easy sweep up. We've had it installed for 3 months and I've noticed a lot of moss on the ground that would have been in the gutter.

Ok for what I wanted it for

Not used on one in the traditional venue but as part of a gutter in the ground. Used as a support from pebbles over the gutter, reducing contacts. Seems to have worked ok but the evidence will come in time. Very easy to use however so I guess it would work well in its traditional placement. Wide too at 16cm

Bought to fit on my car air intakes as an interim fix. Does the job well, really cost effective. Easy to work with and cut into shape if needed. Feels quite robust too and has a decent coating on the mesh.

I have just fitted this to my veranda roof gutter.It fits well and was very easy to install.I paid £2 including delivery so as you can image I am very happy with my purchase and hopefully it will save me constantly going up and down my ladder clearing this gutter.
