Sooyee 14 Liter Automatic Trash Can with Lid, White

These trash cans are amazing. They are slender but actually hold a great deal of trash. Definitely adequate. I have them in my bathrooms, laundry room and rabbitry/aviary. My first one I got a few years ago and the latch is still holding up. They do give you an extra one taped to the inside of the lid. The can comes apart and you put any trash bag in it. No tying knots. Then you slide the outside cover over it and it holds the bag in place. You can compress the trash down with no worries that the bag will slide out. You can either buy bags or use your plastic grocery bags. I highly recommend them. They look nice and hide unsightly trash. Side note: I have purchased 4 of these but one was from a different brand. I thought it would be the same as this one but just a different color. It had a marble look finish to it. The one caveat was that the lid was smaller than the can and closed inside of it instead of over top. Although I liked the color I didn’t like the way the lid looked set into the inside like that. You couldn’t really tell by the pics that it was any different. I’ve kept it but I don’t recommend that style.

Fits perfectly between the bed and bedside chest. Black color makes it very unobtrusive. Easy to access but difficult for my dogs to open in their quest for used tissues. Perfect!

This is the second one of these little trash cans I have purchased. I really like it. The only downside is that the little plastic locking mechanism can give out; the upside is that they provide a new device taped to the lid. But I wish the locking device was just a bit stronger.

This is my favorite trash can. This is the second time I ordered it. Very easy to open. Good quality materials. The latch and hinges broke after a long time of use, but I noticed the newest one I just bought came with replacement parts, so I think that's good that they're trying to make up for the wear that normal use has on it. It holds a grocery sack's worth of trash. It fits perfectly into a narrow space and is made of strong, thick plastic. Functions great.

Had high hopes, but as others have said, this (small trashcan with auto lid) seems like something that should be simple to design, but apparently not. Here are the problems: 1. At first, seems great. But wait... 2. Battery life is abysmal. I tried many ropes of batteries, from premium to rechargeable. They do not last long enough to justify an automatic lid. It's hard for me to quantify because it's obviously based on use. But let's say with light use, probably less than one month. 3. Once battery is dead, you can't manually open the lid without feeling like you're "forcing" the hinge mechanism. 4. Battery compartment is not convenient to pull out and push in. 5. As others have mentioned, hard to find/fit bags or liners that don't stick out and kill the sleek look. 6. Materials, including/especially what seems to be the motor, are flimsy. I am a very busy person and only take the time to write reviews (certainly long ones) when I feel I've been shorted on price vs. quality. Keep looking. You've been warned. Give more credence to the critical reviews than the shining ones.

I used to have an IKEA step trash can which was pretty small and noisy. Anytime I had to throw something away, it made such a racket. I've been redoing the decor of my bathroom and was hunting for an attractive but practical trash can. This was a little pricey but the clever design is so worth it. It hides bags so it always looks neat and tidy. It easliy fits plastic grocery bags which I always reuse as my bathroom trash bags. It's also really quiet, you just push the top to open the lid and push it firmly to close it again. Plus, the size makes it easy to slide into the spot between the toiler and the cabinet. It's a little pricey at $25 but it makes for such a better bathroom experience!

Arrived with jammed button. Once able to turn on, lid would continue to open and close without anyone being near. Would not recommend.

Poubelle avec clapet. S’encastre juste sous l’évier. Parfait
