Skoy Scrub, 2-pack Reusable, Non-Scratching Dish Scrubber for Kitchen and Household Cleaning, Planet-Friendly, Dishwasher Safe Soft Scrub, Assorted Colors and Designs

I recently replaced my old non-stick cookware, with their often very unhealthy mystery coatings, with cast iron. I wanted to be sure to treat my new pans right, which meant finding the ideal thing to clean them with. I didn't want one of those chain-mail scrubby things, as those looked like something I just wouldn't enjoy using. Their reviews were mixed, as well. I tried one of those hard plastic scrapers recommended as sure-fire at dislodging the cooked-on layer in the bottom of cast iron skillets. But I didn't like using that at all. It scratched channels through the layer, or just took off the top of the layer, so the plastic scraper was tedious to use, and it took a long time to get the pans clean. And even then- the pans were't really clean. There just had to be a better way to get cast iron clean, and without taking off the layers of seasoning that had taken time to establish. I remember typing "cleaning cast iron" in the search bar here on Amazon, and these scrubbers showed up. I remember thinking "huh- those sure don't look like anything special." How could a flat little thing like that clean a cooked-on layer of stuff clinging to the bottom of a cast iron pan? I read the reviews from people who had used it on their cast iron, and the reports were good. These little guys are also super affordable. Why not? When the Skoy scrubbers arrived (I tried the two pack) they still didn't look like anything special. I did quite like their cheerful colors, and they appeared to be well constructed. I also liked that by purchasing them I was helping to support a small independent business. But they sure didn't look like they were going to be cleaning powerhouses. I made cheeseburgers that afternoon, which put a cooked on layer of cooked-on greasy residue in my 10 inch Lodge cast iron pan. I waited for the pan to cool, then put it into the sink. I put in a tiny squeeze of dishwashing liquid and added some very hot water. I picked up the Skoy pad, and started scrubbing. And- that cooked on stuff came right off of the bottom of the pan. Like, immediately. I was surprised at how quickly this little flat colorful furry plastic thing had banished the layer of crusty crud without me needing to scrub hard, or for very long. It was almost like magic, how fast the pan got clean. I rinsed out the skillet, and I couldn't clearly see the bottom because of the suds. "I bet this scrubber didn't get *everything* off of the pan," I mused cynically. After the next rinse, I could see that the bottom of the pan was indeed completely clean. No clinging, cooked-on meat residue; no lingering unseen, but could be felt, layers of grease. And while this little wonder pad had gotten the pan really clean, I discovered it had not removed the seasoning layer. I dried the pan, set it on the stove with the burner on high, put a few drops of canola oil into it, and wiped the oil vigorously around the pan's interior with a wadded up paper towel. As I went over the bottom of the skillet, I could feel that the little seasoning "boost" I was giving it was going over a still well-seasoned surface. Fantastic! When one little thing goes really well, it it just seems to make life better. I tried the other Skoy pad (I had designated one pad for dishes and pans, and one for cleaning other things) on some stubborn soap scum that had built up in the tub. I sprayed the scum with some Method all purpose cleaner, then wiped the Skoy pad across, then rinsed. Boom! Gone. Completely clean. And I didn't need to use any kind of abrasive cleanser, or attack the tub with the industrial scrub brush next to it. I also didn't practically throw my back out getting the tub nice and clean. I was so impressed by the performance of these amazing pads that I immediately sent a set of two to three friends. One friend used one of them on parts of her kitchen floor that she hadn't, no matter what she tried, been able to get clean. It was like her kitchen floor had "ring around the collar" as the areas she was trying to clean ran around the periphery of the room, right against the walls. She was so happy at the quick results she got from the Skoy pad, she called to thank me then and there. The other two friends own cast iron, and I knew as soon as they used the Skoys on their cookware they were going to use nothing else. They too were delighted by the results, and marveled at how the cleaning time had been reduced to almost nothing by these effective little pads. After discovering these scrubbers, I can't imagine ever using anything else. I'm going to make sure I always have back-ups- not that either pad is showing any sign of wearing out. No matter what I try them on, the Skoy pads always do a much better job than I think they are going to, and they clean better than any other sponge/pad/scrubber/brush that I've ever used. They save a lot of time too as you aren't needing to scrub and scrub, and you don't get worn out from exertions in an attempt to get something clean. I have a glass-topped stove and they clean that beautifully without scratching it at all. I'm never going to be without these little Skoy scrubbers. I only wish I had known about them years ago- think of all of the time that would have saved! Which reminds me- its time again to deep clean the refrigerator. I'm sure the Skoy pads will make short work of the sticky little puddles and layers of stuff that build up so fast in there, as well. I can't wait to try them out in there. And I never, ever thought I would be looking forward to cleaning out the refrigerator, lol. Do yourself a favor, and give them a try!

These scrubbers are effective and yet don’t scratch expensive cookware. They are the perfect size and shape! The material is not very absorbent, which means the soap stays on the cookware instead of being absorbed by the scrubber. It is not soft and is almost a plastic-cloth blend (if that makes any sense). What I love most about this scrubber is that it dries quickly and doesn’t get that mildew smell that most absorbent cloth/scrubbers/sponges get after one use because they don’t dry out thoroughly.

Ok so I have ADHD and although that really has nothing to do with these amazing scrub pads it does to me as I needed something colorful that is sturdy and scrubs my dishes when I need them to scrub as I have dawn power wash which helps a lot too. I got bored of the same old blue sponge and it wasn’t appealing to me. Back to the scrub pads I was mainly searching for a good hand washing scrub pad that can clean dishes without scratching and scrub tough spots without scratching and these are it. They feel rough because they are scrub pads but that’s ok to me. It’s not a sponge. The only thing is I washed dishes yesterday and the scrub pad is still damp and not dry and I don’t know how to get it to dry properly. Not knocking a star because of that as it’s not a deal breaker and the fact I can wash everything out of the pad easily is fabulous. I have a glass stove top that gets food stains on it and scrubbed it without scratching it. Scrubbed pots and pans, silverware, utensils, and no scratches on anything. I guess I wasn’t really looking for a sponge as I was looking for something to scrub when needed and wash dishes without scratching and get the job done and still look nice after washing dishes as I’ve hand washed dishes for years now no dish washer with the bad well water here. So this definitely is worth the buy I think I’m going to get my mom these for Christmas even.

These are magical. They remove those tough stains, the cooked on food, the baked on grease, and water stained drains. They are gentle enough to scrub hard and not worry about removing a finish. They dry quickly and work like new after several washes. Love these.

Surprised at small size but cleans exceptionally well.

As a stay at home homeschool mom, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cleaning up after an ever present and busy family. For years I have used bar mop style dish rags because of their durability and ease of cleaning. As my children have grown into responsible young people, however, they have taken over more of the kitchen duties. I have noticed that the bar mop style cloths are hard for the kids to wring out and often leave a wet streak everywhere. I have also noticed how grimy they get within a day. After watching a number of house cleaning videos on Youtube, I began to notice how many Youtubers were singing the praises of they Skoy cloths. On a gamble, I ordered a set of the Skoy Scrub and a four pack of the dish cloths. I am so pleased with the Skoy Scubs! Previously we were using Scotch Brite pads for dish cleaning and pot scrubbing. I never loved the way that the SB pads felt in my hands but they certainly worked. I was surprised to find that the Skoy Scrubs seem to work better and are certainly more comfortable. Something about the stiff large weave makes them really good and getting things off of the dishes and pots while also giving it a fast drying time. Unlike the SB pads, these don't get worn down and can be super easily cleaned in the dishwasher. With regard to the dish cloths, other reviewers complained that they are inefficient because you have to wet them before use... well, in my house, they are always wet because they are used so constantly. No problem there! All of us noticed instantly how well they wipe up. They have some grit to them and really grab onto whatever is on the counter. Like a paper towel, they really absorb a lot of liquid. Unlike paper towels, they are easy to reuse and reuse and reuse. Also, they are much stronger than paper. Like a microfber cloth, they leave the surface clean but not very wet. Unlike microfiber, they are exactly the right size and they are not irritating to touch. I have been using these for about a month. I put two into storage and I rotate the other two. While one is in the top rack of the dishwasher, the other is out working. The dishwasher really does get them wonderfully clean. Even if these don't last 6 months, I will be very pleased. That said, after a month of constant use and regular cleaning, they are shockingly still new looking. Both Skoy purchases have been a blessing to me and will likely be what I use for as long as I can get them.

Update: I've been using these now for 10 years daily. They are long lasting and effective. I have now placed a 5th order for these since I constantly am finding different uses for them. They are simply amazing. When I first started using them I would find things to "clean" just to use them haha. Although this won't apply to everyone, if there are any parrot owners out there you need these ! My daily cleaning time of my African Gray and Moluccan's cages has litereally been cut by a third because of these amazing wipes and scrubbies. And I am still using the original wipe and scrubbie I first ordered. The scrubbie removes all but the hardest droppings with the first pass, and the "cement" ones only take one or two more passes and they are gone. And there are no sponge/scrubbie pieces here as with the other products I used in the past. After a pass on the grills with the scrubbie, I then use the wipe that both cleans remaining dirty water off and dries at the same time. When I clean the pans I use the same technique and they are spotless (maybe only for 10 mins lol..but clean they are!). I would use a ton of paper towels when cleaning the "old way" trying to clean up the "ick" from the pans after the scrubbing. After cleaning, I rinse well and microwave the wipe to kill any remaining germs. I have had parrots for over 20 years and I have NEVER used any product that was this effective. I can tell you that my cages have never been this clean, and totol cage cleaning is also a breeze now because the wipes literally get it all. I highly recommend this product so much so that I purchased a set for my best friend who also has parrots!

Juste faire attention aux casseroles anti adhésive sinon très efficace pour faire la vaisselle normale, nettoyer l'évier, nettoyer la plaque vitrocéramique, puis laver -> sécher en plein soleil -> réutiliser, super économique ! Ever since glamping in leases I’ve used these. Brilliant item last a very long time gently but effective. Not cheap but worth the price has you won’t need to replacing them often.
