Don't need one, plug in, switch on, wait for green light, open pouch of the correct size, slide in photo, feed into machine closed end first. Job done. Don't forget to switch off when finished. It is that simple.

Q: Does it need a carrier

We have been using the laminator pouches straight into the machine. I checked the manual and this states "Place the item being laminated into a laminating pouch …………….. The ready indicator will glow green when the laminator reaches the operating temperature. Insert the pouch and its contents straight into the machine, leading with the folded edge." No mention of a carrier being required. Hope this helps.
