Great selection of bits that should cover the vast majority of situations that the home handyperson would need to deal with. Excellent quality too. Highly recommended.

Purchased as a gift for someone during a sale; this product really does represent what I'd consider to be the bare necessities of DIY for someone just starting out with a drill. We tested all 3 types of drill bits and found the magnetic driver bit holder to be straight enough (some kits I've seen the magnetic bit holder is wonky; you only notice when actually driving screws and either you or the screw will wobble!) The range of bits is nice; doesn't compare to some other kits too well, but on price it's got what it needs. Be aware; the pictures on Amazon seem to show items that are NOT included in this kit. The only thing this product is and includes is what's shown in the very first picture. So; a list of pro and cons; Pros: - Case is nicely designed; robust enough, clips are nice, drill bits "stand up" for access - included measure guide is a nice touch - Bits all seem to be good enough; masonry was tested on mortar and some old brick with a 10.8V Makita in hammer drill and had no issues - Value; is ok. It was much better in a sale but it's ok at it's regular price on Amazon. Cons: - The knife really; this kit could have had something better in there, even if it was something small. Maybe a set of drill bit stoppers to attach to the bits to stop you drilling too far... The knife, to me, doesn't belong in this set and lets it down. - Misleading images on Amazon, not the product's fault. The 2 cons together lost this one star. We've found no faults with any of the pieces and it was greatly received as a gift to a new home owner with nothing DIY going in. I really do like those clips actually (looking at my own Makita set that the clips just snap off!)
