made in china!!!!! BUT.... what a great piece of kit, works very well and heavy construction.

Not even worth a fifth of the price. Not recommended.

I bought these when they were on sale. For the price, these are very good value. The base is very sturdy and the slicing options are plentiful. They are also very easy to clean. One thing I don't like is that they used a "plastic pusher". Plastics go fragile over time. Only time will tell how long this platic component lasts.

I've tried several manual food processors. Most of em have been returned or just discarded along the way side. I wanted something manual so not to be dependent on electricity....just in case. I first saw this XL 2000 food processor about 6 mos ago and at the time I couldn't afford it and to be honest I still can't afford it but I also wanted something to make food prep much easier......my knife skills are lacking. I was also wary about how good it was gonna work. I'm so happy that I invested in this jewel 😍. It's worth every penny. You get a heavy duty stainless steel bowl,too. It's constructed really well. The only thing I'd change is the food pusher.....I'd make it stainless. If you're on the fence, go ahead and invest, give it a try I think you'll be glad you did 😊.

I wanted one of these for years. I love to cook and used my mother's when I was young. Back in the day, it was known as a Salad Master. This one is just as good. Works quite well and is very easy to clean. It uses no energy buy my arm and hand.
