Amazon Basics Ultra-Thick Microfibre Cleaning Cloths (Pack of 3)

These Ultra-Thick cloths are simply great !! They are high quality microfibre and stay soft even after a few washes.In the past, I have used the cheaper AmazonBasics microfiber cloths for most of my detailing needs. But found that they do tend to lose their softness and cleaning power after some time, so have to carefully select the best cloths when finishing the sealant and wax layers of my cars. But these Ultra-Thick cloths are of a much higher standard, and I now use these for the final stages of my detailing needs.I have also used some much more expensive cloths for detailing, but have found no difference between the expensive cloths and these Ultra-Thick cloths. They represent superb value for money, and are large enough to fold and turn in order to absorb any wax/polish residue as you buff off to leave a perfect paint finish. One minor word of warning -- they are so good you need to hide them from the wife, or you will find them being used to clean kitchen worktops and furniture !! ( I have just had to order some more to replace the ones which disappeared).

Been into car detailing for years and it changes over time. For a few years now we have been into microfibre cloths, and not many people really know what that means?How do you know you are getting a microfibre cloth?Well, basically most fibres are like hairs and you hope the bulk of the cloth holds the muck.Micro fibres have flutes along the fibres, thereby holding more muck in the bulk of the cloth it makes it softer too..However you must wash them carefully, they cannot take heat as they melt into a straight fibre....More than 40' is no good and dont use softener, it blocks the fibres.Also do an extra rinse on the washer, dont wash with other stuff.So, these are amazing for the money, I will be buying more, they are quite thick and have been using a ceramic polish on the car with great results with these cloths.The label seems to get in the way, its a big one so that might have to come off, but great cloths.

Haven't used them with water so cannot comment on absorbency. I use them for polishing my motorcycles and they are fantastic and leave a very good finish. You can find cheaper but usually as I found out they are much smaller. Would I buy them again maybe if they were on offer again but at full price no sorry I wouldn't. As for cleaning after use normally I cycle the cleaning rags down to cleaning the chain so after that they are just binned. This is why I rated only 3 for value as they at full price are a bit expensive to do this.

I have purchased a second pack of these as I found them to be so useful. They really mop up the water and are ideal when working with the steam cleaner to wipe away any excess waterextremely good value and they wash and dry well and are a very useful size.

As this product is advertised as an Amazon Basics, I was not expecting it to be first rate but after opening the box especially designed for this item of three cloths which were also inside a cellophane bag, I was absolutely amazed at both the size and quality. So am definitely looking forward to using them when cleaning my car. As yet they have not had a practical test, however, from the feel of the fabric I am not expecting to be let down so will definitely give them my seal of approval and recommend them to anyone looking for good quality non expensive microfiber cloths.

I use them as glass wiper cloths in the car. Great size, absorbent and cleans grease off the screen really well. Cloth needs just a hint of dampness to work at its best. No more moving grease around the screen with a dirty rag or making a hole in the condensation with the back of the hand ...

Arrived promptly and reasonably priced. They are slightly smaller than I was expecting but as the dimensions were clearly published this is my error in not getting a tape out before I bought. Regardless, the cloths are of good quality and a decent size, just not premium quality and large, which is sort of what I was hoping for.

These clothes are huge, they can suck up copious quantities of liquids, they are great for big clear ups and floors.....My only drawback with these, is that they pick up and hold onto fragments of insoluble organic matter when cleaning, even after washing in the washing machine, these little bits are still held by the fibres, I have to pick them out once they have emerged from the tumble dryer....Most peoples homes would probably not have this problem... my home can be particularly grubby, with bits trodden in from the garden, where I keep birds on chopped hemp litter..... for a normal home, with a level of cleanliness equivalent to that in a vacuum cleaner advert, I don't think it would be an issue....

Let me start off by saying I wasn't expecting much for such a low price. My experience with microfiber cloth has been less than stellar as is, and that was with more expensive products. In fact, I fully expected to have to toss them out or find uses other than I intended. However, upon my very first use I fell in love with them almost immediately. Not only did these clean my glasses, they cleaned them better than my favourite premium cleaning cloth. With my other cloths, I needed multiple passes over the lenses to get every bit of oil or debris, often making more smudges as I tried until finally getting them perfect. With these, I only need a single pass and they come out pristine. I ended up tossing my other cloths in favour of these, and cut up one of the cloths into several smaller squares so I can fit them easily in my pocket for use at work.I am also using another for a face and hand towel, and in to time at all my face is completely dry as well as my hair and hands. My only complaint in this regard is that these cloths have the dreaded skin catching thing going on, which you don't see with towels designed for use with skin. You get used to it though, and you won't regret it.The third cloth I am using on my monitors, and there was no surprise in their efficacy there too. I barely even need to spray them with any cleaners, the cloth is that good.I cannot speak for the longevity of these cloths quite yet as I am only on the first week of use, but I am likely going to buy more if ever I need to replace them. Even after cutting them into squares and running those through a heavy cycle in the washer and dryer (partly by accident), the cut squares are still exactly the same as they had been when I first cut them.One thing to note is that if you do end up cutting them as I did, you will find small particles on the scissors or surface you cut them on. Very small price to pay for a very worthwhile endeavor.

He probado las típicas bayetas de microfibra que venden en grandes superficies y aunque funcionan de forma aceptable no se pueden comparar con las que vende Amazon.A destacar:- Grosor y suavidad.- Se lavan fácil. No tiran pelo. No pierden suavidad con los lavados- Absorben gran cantidad de aguaA mejorar:- Deberían comercializarse en distintos colores o en algún color más sufrido. Si limpias zonas del coche muy sucias quedan manchas que son muy difíciles de sacar con los lavados.En resumen. Un producto casi perfecto y 100% recomendable. Superior en calidad a las bayetas de microfibra que he comprado en los supermercados.
