10L Semi-Round Pedal

I adore this bin. I doesn't topple or move around when you step on the pedal and it looks lovely - not cheap-looking at all. It is really nice quality and a pleasure to use. The bin liners that you need to buy to go with it are priced reasonably and fit the bin well. I would say it is an ideal size for a bathroom. Not too small that nothing fits in or they fill up really quickly (like the tiny ones you can get), but not so big that it overpowers the room. If you have children and are thinking about nappies, I would say you could probably fit in 4-5 big pull ups (size 6+) to give you an idea, and the seal is pretty good.

I'm not sure how, but there it is. From a blokey perspective: it's solidly made, the soft close lid is pretty cool for when you want to show off your skillz by dropping something in after taking your foot off the pedal. You can also lift the lid fully and it'll stay open... which is handy for when you just want to bin a bunch of stuff. The D shape is less awkward for cramming oddly shaped things into than I expected, and the bin holds quite a bit. Had it a couple of weeks and no sign of rust yet. Also, it looks nice. The liner gets nicely hidden down the sides of the inner plastic bin. Ok - busted - that last one my wife had to point out.

Bins are one of those household items that no one gives much thought to. Over the years I have had some pretty rubbish bins if you'll pardon the pun. I will buy simplehuman from now on. Yes they are pricey but I get the feeling that they will last for a very long time which is backed up by the incredible 10 year warranty. I bought this bin for a small bathroom and it is perfect as it fits neatly against the wall - such a simple space saving solution that makes the bin looks less intrusive. Although it is so stylish that it really doesn't need to be hidden away too much. Everyone using my bathroom seems to comment on it and I will be looking to replace my kitchen bins in the not too distant future. This is exactly what I was looking for. It is not too big, not too small, just the right size for my bathroom. The shape means that it sits nicely against the wall and does not protrude too much. An added plus is that, unlike the previous pedal bin I had, there is no metal at the bottom of the bin or underneath, which means that there will be no horrible rust marks on the tiles. The lid is semi-matt, which avoids fingerprints and keeps it looking pristine. Came really well packaged with 3 bin liners (clever marketing ploy but useful nevertheless) and a year guarantee. Altogether really happy with my purchase!

Very pleased with this bin it's quite handy with the battery operation of the lid.

I never thought that I could get so excited about a range of products, but this item is just one of several items I have purchased to accessorise my new fitted kitchen. I am delighted with the semi-circular waste bin; the product is well designed, well made and excellent materials used in its construction. A lot of thought has obviously gone into making it as robust as possible while still maintaining its good looks. The co-ordinating bags fit perfectly and nothing overhangs. The soft close lid is efficient and I have not noticed any smell from contents. Certainly not the cheapest on the market but good value for money.

This is a premium product. Honest. Bought this in 2015 and I have updated this in June 2019 with a photo of the base of the 10 ltr version. One of those purchases where you don't feel slightly disappointed with the construction, presentation or some other issue. I read many of the reviews here before purchase and I was not let down. I particularly like the appearance, the solid 'kick' of the foot pedal, and the way everything fits so it keeps very clean in operation. As you can see in the uploaded photo, there are two rubber feet on the bottom and the bin sits on these plus about half of the bottom plastic circumference. Very happy!

Yes these are expensive but you really do get what you're paying for. The quality is excellent and I love the no-fingerprint lid - really important for a bathroom bin. They come with a 10 year guarantee but I doubt it will need to be used as they seem really sturdy and hard to break. The shape is really nice as well - looks sleek, modern and clean. Would highly recommend!

Excelente e innovador cubo de pedal. Muy satisfecha con este artículo de la marca Simplehuman, no muy conocida en España, pero de una calidad e innovación destacable. El cubo de pedal 10 litros lo quería para la cocina, de espacio reducido, y como ya separamos residuos con este tamaño suficiente para los que somos en casa, puedo utilizar las bolsas de basura de 15 l de marca blanca de mi supermercado porque el diseño permite que se ajuste gracias a un pequeño orificio en el cubo interior atrás para ello. La bolsa queda oculta y no asoma cuando el cubo está cerrado. Unas pequeñas hendiduras permiten que extraigas el cubo interior fácilmente sin tener que tocar la parte interna del cubo donde caen los residuos. El pedal es robusto y fiable, el cubo no se mueve al presionar el pedal, la apertura es total sin tener que insistir en el esfuerzo como cubos de otras marcas que se vencen por el peso de la tapa. El cierre es suave, lento y silencioso. El acero es anti huellas, limpio, el acabado perfecto. Tiene una discreta asa detrás para mover el cubo. Garantía de 10 años. Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo, este modelo y cualquier otro de la marca, con otros diseños, colores, más grandes y más variados para sitios más espaciosos. Un diez. Por poner alguna pega que no existan o al menos no se venda en amazon tamaños intermedios entre los 10 litros y los siguiente 30 litros en adelante.

El bote superó mis expectativas, tiene buen acabado, es de buen material, el pedal se siente fuerte y su cierre es silencioso, es de buen tamaño perfecto para la cocina o baño, trae unas bolsas de regalo, lo recomiendo ampliamente, muchas gracias

Wer einen formal außergewöhnlichen und technisch wie verarbeitungsmäßig hochwertigen Treteimer sucht, kommt an diesem Modell nicht vorbei. Tolles Aussehen, perfekte und geräuschlose Tretmechanik. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung, da es schon unser zweiter ist und wir bereits insgesamt 4 Simplehuman besitzen. Tipp: Der 50 Liter ist ebenfalls außergewöhnlich. . . März 2016: Nach über einem Jahr kann ich nur sagen, es war die perfekte Entscheidung! Das sind die besten Treteimer, die wir je hatten. Wir haben soeben einen weiteren Treteimer von AMAZON erhalten. Diesmal hat es allerdings wieder erst im zweiten Anlauf geklappt, die Verpackung ist so schlecht, dass wir bereits mehrere Eimer mit Dellen erhalten haben. Daher Vorsicht: Gleich nach der Lieferung genau überprüfen. Das Edelstahl ist eher dünn. Ausreichend, aber nicht für einen rauen Transport in dieser Verpackung.
