Good quality switch, easy to install
Good quality switch as expected from MK. Easy to install, provides screws with it. Also as a knockout at the bottom for a flex outlet if you want it (otherwise leave it sealed). Good quality switch motion. Fuse included. Recommended.

Works well.
Why did you choose this product over others?: Known and trusted brand. Good quality but the fuse is a bit fidelity.

Disappointing - but does the job
In my opinion (as a retired engineer)this product has design flaws. Minor niggles that can make it fiddly to install, and a restrictive temperature spec. First, the terminal screws are very stiff, even without the wires in it's a bit like trying to screw in a cross threaded screw (no, they weren't cross threaded!). The screws are recessed in the moudling, restricting the size of the screwdriver (which has to be slotted type). All this means it's easy to think the screws are tight enough to grip the wires when in fact they aren't. (So give the wires a good tug when you're done to make sure they're tight). The bottom entry cable grip is a screwless nylon pinch clip which is very difficult to push a thick flex into (e.g. 2.5mm for immersion heater). If you do this first there's a good chance it'll pop out while you're dealing with those stiff screws, and if you do it last you may strain the other wiring while you're trying to push the flex into the cord grip. The fuseholder has a 'jacking screw' but after replacing the fuse, you have to push the fuseholder in until it engages the screw, then tighten the screw. This does work, but the 'problem' here too is the large amount of force required to push in the fuseholder enough to engage the screw. It feels like you're forcing it, but that's the way it is. Finally, the 'Technical Details' here on this website say: 'Ambient operating temperature -5 to +40 degrees. Do not exceed as average of more than 25 degrees in nay 24 hour period' Do they really mean this? 25C average is not a high temperature, especially in an airing cupboard where many of us find our immersion heaters. I think I'll try Crabtree next time.

Good build quality and easy to fit
Replaced a socket which had started to melt in an otherwise fine setup. This replacement is good quality and wired straight into the existing wall position.

Spurred to success.
Robust, plenty of room inside the box and good choice of entry ports. Easy to fit and mount. Doesn’t have a neon so don’t know what brightness rating is for. Fits fuse well but you have to unscrew it to wind the fuse out which can be a bit fiddly.
