the overall build quality is good. It looks professional and sleek when it's open ...
- Build quality 4/5While they keys are a tiny bit rattly, the overall build quality is good. It looks professional and sleek when it's open or closed.- Connectivity 5/5No problems with connectivity. Has maintained constant connection with over a week of use.- Battery life 5/5Very impressed with this. Out of the box it lasted me over 10 days, without me ever turning the keyboard off.- Convenience and use 5/5Once paired and set up, I don't turn the keyboard off. It's as easy as opening the case up, and start typing. Turning from landscape to portrait is fluid and easy, and being able to disconnect the tablet from the keyboard without removing it from the casing is very impressive.- OVERALL 5/5

Well constructed, useful product
I've managed to use this keyboard on two Samsung phones, a Nexus 7 and an iPad 1. It works well with all of the aforementioned products. The Samsung phones (Note 3 & Ace 2) were a little irritating - they seem to assume the keyboard layout is US English (the keyboard is actually a UK layout), so £ signs don't work properly. There's an app on Google Play called "External Keyboard Helper" which will fix that up, though.Nexus 7 and the iPad both picked up the correct keyboard layout and worked "out of the box".No on-off switch, just start typing and it connects to your device and works instantly. Pairing was just as simple - hold the button in, search on your device and tap in the code on the keyboard. The keyboard itself is well constructed. They're fullsized keys, but obviously the depth of the keys is quite low to keep it nice and compact. It's not as comfortable as a fullsized keyboard for this reason, but for typing out in the wilderness it's certainly usable and a lot nicer than tapping out long e-mails using an onscreen keyboard.Battery life is an unknown as of yet. I put in two unbranded alkaline batteries back in November, and they're still working strong in January. However, I must note I only whip this out for the odd e-mail now and again so I can't consider myself a heavy user.

Great quality for the price
Have not used it long, but first impression is good - the tablet holds up well and the keys are comfortable and responsive, click nicely (maybe a liitle loud though). Feels like a minilaptop when closed. If it is your first time using a tablet+keyboard combo, it will definitely be weird at first - your finger will be reaching for a touchpad that isn't there, but this too shall pass. Fn lets you control volume, brightness as well as the home and lock functions. You'll need stickers for the keys if, like me, you use a language with a Swedish keyboars layout.

Mini Blue-tooth keyboard for iPad
This is a small but very sturdy keyboard about the same width as the iPad, but tilted for easy typingEasy to set-up and use it makes entering data a breeze compared with the virtual on-line keyboard on the iPad itselfOne caution - the @ and the " are reversed and this cannot be corrected, but you soon get used to this, especially as you do not use them that oftenBecause it is so sturdy and because the "tilt|" is built in, the keyboard is relatively bulky to stow away for carrying compared with some other flat keyboards, but it is very good qualityIt has a jelly like pad over the keyboard for protection, which is strange at first but you soon get used to it - it it drives you crazy you can easily take it off. There are many others you can try to see if you like better but this works well and is good value

You get what you pay for!
This is my second keyboard in two years. The first one I bought came with instructions in Japanese and a couple of the keys did not type out the correct signs (e.g. $ came up when I pressed the key marked £). The keyboard stopped synching with my iPad after 2 years so had to buy another one - what a waste!I bought my second keyboard just before Christmas and had to return it for an exchange because one of the keys was not working. I am now typing on my replacement keyboard and there are still issues - a number of the symbols and signs do not match up with the keys e.g. " appears where the key is labelled @, and @ appears when I press the key marked ", etc, etc.It would be great if a simple keyboard case could be included with the product.

The iPad's ideal partner.
Excellent product and perfect fit for my iPad pro 9.7. The iPad can easily be released for handheld use although I doubt I will find a need to do so very often. Perfect when you need to type a long detailed email. I already have an earlier "standalone" Tecknet keyboard used in conjunction with an earlier iPad and Nexus 10 which has served me well in the past and is still in full working order.

Great keyboard and a really great price.
To be quite honest I was unsure how effective this keyboard would be. It was quite cheap and whilst it had great reviews, I wasn't holding out massive hopes. I love being proved wrong! This keyboard is fantastic, it is easy to set up and even easier to use. The reaction from the keys allows for a smooth flowing thing experience. I have been using this Keyboard pretty much exclusively for the past 24 hours and it hasn't let me down once. It may seem like a sort period to base a review on, but I a m that happy with it. So glad with this purchase.

Excellent little keyboard; ideal for Kindle Fire
I purchased this item for use with a Kindle Fire HD. I looked at various reviews on other units but this one seemed to be what I was looking for.I was not disappointed. It is well made and the keys are easy to operate. It paired with the Kindle in no time and now all I have to do is touch any key and the Kindle wakes up.The arrow keys can be used to highlight the various icons and elements on the Kindle display and the Enter key is used to select the highlighted item. The Esc key is used to return to the home screen. The character set mapping is correct for the Kindle, except that the "*" and "@" keys are reversed. The battery life appears good; I am still using the original batteries I fitted three months ago. There is a translucent neoprene cover that fits the keys perfectly.Overall, a neat, well made and very useable piece of kit. Recommended to any Kindle Fire user who is looking for a small but sturdy keyboard.John H.
