Can you use each sheet more than once?

I have already used one sheet at least 6 times and expect to get a few more copies from this one sheet. an excellent product.

can you use this to trace a picture on a pumpkin for easier carving?

I doubt that you could, I didn't find it so easy on a flat surface, sorry.

what substance is actually deposited

Not entirely sure; the package does use the word graphite, but not sure if that is the composition of the deposit or refers to the colour (the option is white) - it does look like graphite. The packaging does say it is non-toxic, no grease, no wax and acid-free. They do have a website www.artcoe.co.uk which may have more information.

Some people say that the graphite imprint is very faint. Is this true, or they're just not pressing hard enough?

There are a number of trace down colours you can use. The obvious ones are white and grey, which you match to your ground. Grey light ground, white dark ground. You do have to press firmly. I have been using it for over a year now. I think it’s brilliant. Also, I have never had any problems. Hope this helps
