Anyone had problems with taking the knife through the security gate at the airport? Blade is 3.4cm long so it should be allowed.

At Bristol you cannot take onboard a "Knife (with a sharp or pointed blade and/or a blade longer that 6cm)". This doesn't read well, but does indicate you would be OK (as long as the guard doesn't consider the end to be pointed). However, your destination may have a different attitude when you try to return. The USA may allow you to own and walk around with an assault rifle, but they are far stricter than the UK at the security gate and they won't let you on with any bladed article. You might be OK, but is it really worth it?

Does it come with a pouch

Hi Amazon Customer,It comes with a small leatherette sleeve, which protects the finish but isn't useful for belt mounting etc. However, this knife is very 'compact and bijou' so isn't really suitable for belt mounting anyway, but it is no weight in a pocket. Hope this helps.

Does this have scissors? I've just lost one of these, and it had scissors, but it's not listed on the description here.

This 'Escort' model does not feature scissors, so you need the 'Classic' model which has the same tools plus an excellent pair of scissors. The Classic is exactly the same length and breadth, and is just 1mm thicker.
