Q: When you sing into the mic a head voice, is there any distortion at all?

I have had no distortion problems with this mic, but simply put, distortion will only occur if you overload it, that is solved by moving yourself back from the mic, this mic is very sensitive and doesn't require you to be right up close. the only other way you will build distortion in is if you have your mixer preamp up too high and get clipping, but that is nothing to do with the mic. I would advise you to get the best cable you can for it however as cheap cables create an awful lot of noise when you use phantom power.

Q: I have irigpre audio mixture which has phantom power,will it work with behringer b1?

The Irig Pre supplies 48 V phantom power from a 9 volt battery, so as long as there's a battery installed it ought to work.
