The product is OK but battery life cannot be judged as it is new but battery replace instructions seem incorrect,The instruction says"turn front part of lamp anticlockwise to open",As the unit is oval this is impossible,in fact the lens is prised off at either end using the slot provided,the lens is held in place by a plastic hook at four points,the lens is simply a snap on fitBut the brightness is very good

Fitted to my mobility scooter, they will be great in the dark, don’t know how tong the batteries last, but nice and bright.

These bike lights work well for light usage (no pun intended), I use them mainly for cycling about 15 minutes around town each evening - the reason I need the lights is to make sure that I'm visible to cars, and for that, they work very well. The lights take AAA batteries (4 are included), which is very handy and I can recharge the batteries when they run out (I have to do a recharge about once a month).If you need a set of lights to help you see far ahead in the dark, however, I'd recommend paying a bit more to get a set that outputs more lumens. These are good for making you visible to cars, but they do not cast much light on the road in front so you can't see very far ahead. At £7.99 though, they're great value.

I received my mega bright lights , but the front light dose not work so i open it up to have a look to see why and the batteries are leaking and corroded . So i will retuen them after chirstmas . So i would like a refund

Having used these set of lights on roads at night, some of which aren't lit, I can say that these lights do what they're supposed to do. I recommend you also wear a hi-vis vest, just in case the batteries run out, but thankfully this hasn't happened to me, and I always carry spares. The battery life when the lights are on the constant setting is pretty good, and roughly the same as what is stated by the maker. The build quality is decent, and changing the light settings is as easy as pressing a button on the back of the light casing. Fitting the lights is easy enough, and will require a screwdriver to tighten the brackets around the handlebars and seatpost. The only things I had problems with were opening the lights casing to put in the batteries (they are included), and getting the front light to fit around my handlebars. I may have slightly larger handlebars than average, but I had to remove the rubber strips that go in-between the handlebars and the bracket. They're obviously provided to stop the lights from sliding, but if you tighten the bracket enough this isn't an issue.I have a more detailed review on my site, along with some close-up photos and a video of the lights on their different settings. I have to use a walker and got them because a police car stopped me and suggested it would be a good idea so I could be seen when crossing the roads, rather slowly I might add. They were absolutely right and I started using them last night after getting them yesterday. I had quite a few comments about them being very sensible and I do feel more secure knowing I can be seen so well.
