Expensive I thought when I got this to accompany our mini waffle maker, but I thought I'd buy it as a one off and save myself time and avoid the mess. You get loads for your money so I'd recommend as it's worth it.It's worth it because the taste is great. Lovely consistency, easy to mix and cooks evenly and if I'm honest 'perfectly.I will be buying more of this in the future for sure. You can make your own mix at home im sure however, I'm really not sure you'd get such good consistency. I can't be sure as I've not yet tried and so will challenge and then write back on this as a taste challenge for the future.My teens created waffles for themselves and friends/family and all really enjoyed. Good fun stacking with fruit (strawberries, blueberries etc are great) with your fave ice cream.

I so enjoyed the waffles served up for breakfast on a visit to my daughter in law, that I bought a Belgian Waffle, Canapé and Cakes Maker - Party Pastry Maker. I bought the Efbe-Schlott make because it has 3 Interchangeable Baking Plates the plates remove for washing too. I made the traditional waffle recipe in the book first but found it to be a little heavy. I have later discovered that this was because I mixed it too vigorously. I bought this mix on a whim and it was next to be tried. The waffles came out light and slightly sweet. They were prefect. I worked it out that 1 kg bag made 64 of my 4x4" waffles. At first glance it appears an expensive purchase but I have done the maths . Using the dry mix (including the postage, it costs 0.07p per waffle. Taking into consideration the fact that you only need to find water and oil to make up the dry mix and that I never run out of these two ingredients, I decided that it was a very good buy. My favourite at the moment is to add a fresh apple chopped finely to the mixture and a ½ tsp of Cinnamon. Delicious!!

Delicious and very quick to make, but rather expensive for what you get. A 1kg bag has four 250g portions. In my Salter Kuro XL one portion (£2.50) made 4½ waffles; by comparison the recipe in the instruction booklet costs £2.83 per portion and makes 7½ waffles. That’s 56p per waffle for bag mix v 38p per waffle for fresh batter.Handy to have in the cupboard for convenience since it means I wouldn’t have to melt and cool butter (the only tedious bit of making from scratch!), but I’ll mostly stick to making my own mix.

Yummy! When this first arrived I was a little confused as the instructions stated that you measure out the fluids (water and oil) in grams rather than litres/mls. I found it a little odd that you were to measure the fluid on scales rather than from a jug. anyway, I double checked that i read this right by asking previous customers, and the general consensus was indeed to weigh the fluids on scales as you weigh the powder mix. So this is what I did, and the resulting waffles, which I made in my new von chef 3 in 1 waffle maker, were gorgeous. Very light and fluffy and tasty... Yummy with frozen fruit dessert (von chef frozen fruit dessert maker, similar to yonanas). mmmmmmm Will make lots more.... I found that if I measure out 150g of the waffle powder and equivalent fluids, I got 2 full irons full (thats 4 small waffles made twice). I could cut this down again to half just to make enough waffles for one meal time dessert for two people (I have a sweet tooth)..

Following the instructions the correct amount of oil 40g, water 230ml and this waffle mix 250g this will make 4 nice large waffles in a double square waffle maker. Nice and sweet but not sickly sweet. For the kilo bag this is, it makes 16 very nice square waffles.

Taste nice & fluffy but I prefer the other waffle mix on Amazon, in a white bag.Annoyingly, no matter how much butter I used, the waffles wouldn't come out of the waffle maker so would fall apart.

The package arrived fully sealed (happy) but i admit being concerned about this after reading negative reviews. I didn't have my scales to hand so i converted grams to tablespoons and cups which was easy to do. It took 1 to 2 minutes to prepare the batter with a single hand whisk (not electrical but manual). Taste wise, the brand of oil used to prepare the batter will probably make a difference. To help further, i used the Sage no mess waffle maker on setting 3 but in future i'd reduce this to setting 2 or even 1 for a more shop like texture. Finally, the 250g method prepares 3 waffles so i'd advise not to get carried away making a higher quantity! I Overall, this is a lovely option for a homemade waffle mix and i look forward to entertaining guests when I've got no time to prepare other desserts. Quick and convenient!

Für die schnelle Zubereitung sicherlich gut. Die Lieferung war schnell und das Paket kam in einem ordentlichen Zustand an. Ich habe aber noch keinen Gebrauch davon gemacht. Ist auch als Reserve vorgesehen.

Très contente de ce produit. Il permet de faire des gaufres exceptionnelles, légères, croustillantes et délicieuses ! Et en plus ce mix est d’un facilité déconcertante à utiliser. Juste parfait

Premetto che non ho mai mangiato waffle prima di poco tempo fa ed ho acquistato la macchinetta e il preparato piu per curiosità ... Che dire ! I waffle vengono perfetti, buoni, con poca fatica e tempo perche aggiungi solo acqua e olio e mescoli. Ogni mattina si possono fare i waffle anche se si ha poco tempo
